😊 I meant she may not know that it is Ahaan behind the groom Sehra as Ahaan might stand in for Mayank after knowing his truth. Ahaan might feel the need to “protect” Ishqi due to his beliefs about women and he may think he is doing a noble thing by stepping in and accepting her hand in marriage to protect her from “disgrace of being left at the alter.”

If that’s the way it goes Ishqi will be angry with AVM for trying to think she is weak as most of their arguments start this way.

I am aware of only IPKKND and Ishqbaaz where forced/blackmail marriage happened in Gul's show. Did that happen in any other show? I followed only QH and it did not happen there.

Pretty much possible as this is what happened in her previous show too too i think

In Nazar also, it was pretty much a forced marriage. Sigh. Nothing turns me off the way GK's forced marriages and abusive leads do.

Ohh Okay. Thanks. I did not follow QH after first season. But this statistics of forced marriage in her shows suggest there might be something like this. I really wish its different here.

Post marriage love is total different thing though. That doesn't necessarily have to include abuse and quite unacceptable humiliation.

Anyway I just hope the show continues to do well TRP wise

Here Ishqi's maasi is a victim of domestic violence so Ishqi has low tolerance to any physical violence. If writers are consistent with her character, she won't take be taking any physical abuse. I guess they might not show it here.
