I was a little like Sai actually - very talkative but not really into romance and also knew that my parents wouldn't approve. He proposed to me 4 times before I decided to give it a chance. He had lost his first football match as sports captain and we were sitting while he blabbered about how much it hurt him etc and I just looked at him and said - Okay, let's date. Didn't give him time to react and left for my hostel- he had to call me on the phone after I went back confirm if we were actually together and if I had said yes🤣

Which is why I say - Give love a chance. Most random of moments turn out to be life-changing.

It was a cliche love story - he was the sports captain(left a football scholarship to pursue medicine), I was a nerd - valedictorian, debate team type. Had my first kiss in the rain, said I love you in front of the entire cafeteria before running off for a practical exam☺️🤣Lots of hiding from parents, sneaking around, long distance relationship etc.

Little things like - he sat for three hours in the same position and fought to keep people quiet when I fell asleep in his lap during a movie marathon or came to my city to surprise me on my birthday when I was pissed off at him, cleaned me up and never complained when I was upset and drunk and threw up on him and messed up his bathroom when we were dating

Danced on a romantic song on the beach where he proposed, fought against my entire family for 2 years before they relented and we got married.

Been together for fifteen years now. Never a dull moment though.

Disclaimer----- I'm absolutely fully completely single. Itv and bollywood mein ek aisa moment hota hai na where the girl's dupatta get stuck to the guy's suit, etc. This incident took place in 12th grade I guess. Trust me I didn't have a crush on this boy at all(uska pata nahi🤣)... Infact we were really irritated with each other #Dushmans🤣this is damn funny according to me.

So, there was some Hindi Diwas or something which was being celebrated in school... toh I was part of a play or something and was asked to wear a white suit with a dupatta. Now In the morning I was walking towards the classroom door to leave for tge Amphitheatre and then this maahaan guy enters in speed just past me... now because of his speed my dupaata's end flies a little gets stuck to the zip of his school bag (I had pinned my duppatta with safety pins) #Amazing 😳 We give each other death glares and somehow calm ourselves and stop... he takes off his bag and pulls the dupatta end out of that zip calmly (that was hella surprising) and places the corner in my hand (haath mein kaun duppatta deta hai) ... phir humaara thora argument hota hai... and that's the story...

It's like really damn funny for me and during that moment I just felt like running away somehow...
