The film released in 2008. Why was the set not destroyed after the filming was done?


Is it common for studios to keep sets of old films? Don't they run out of room? Just curious.

It was a brilliant piece of production/construction. Too beautiful to destroy.


They may have used it for other projects but mainly it became a point of attraction at the studio.

Because it became a tourist attraction. Even Bahubali's set is still kept intact.

Many studios keep sets as attractions or to be re-utilized in sequels or other films, some even sell the rights and some parts of the sets to large entertainment parks so that they create attractions. Ever heard of a small film, called Star Wars?
