As per Indian government’s Act, this is actually right. Even if a guy keeps pestering a girl through messages / mails / keeps buying flowers / keeps asking out, creating a situation where the girl is feeling pressurised or creating a hostile environment is considered “sexual harassment”. It doesn’t even have to be physical contact.

actually she’s doing it more to create buzz and articles around her .. she’s a bad actress with only one expression and she does not know how to walk gracefully in a Saree .. she should request the cvs to give her a change in clothes .. this one only makes her look like a round barrel .. if you compare the graceful dhara bhabhi
.. how she rocks the sari .

Not just concern. He specifically said “care and concern of pakhi and sai” meaning to him, both are same

Good, bad, grey, hero, villian, antihero... all of them and while I understand that it's tough to accept the backlash that negative characters attract - I think it's quite foolish to justify the negative actions by covering them with emotions that weren't actually there. I mean, that's how you made the character - that's how you perceived it and that's how it should be - desperate in Pakhi's context. There is no need of justification here because she is just doing what she was perceived for by the makers! Peeps gotta stick to their characters. 😳

All genders have the right to feel mentally and physically safe. If one is not comfortable with hugs and even handshakes without consent even that is ok.

I for example never hug a person who is not from my inner circle incl relatives. I just feel uncomfortable.

I dislike especially men standing too close and talking when they try and even by accident they brush my cheek or chest I can slap. It is just very uncomfortable for me . When this is consent and most are ok with it it so for a man too

A friend has been Der where u r friend has been too. It did a lot of damage to him

Thr bottomline is, our hero fell in love with a co-actress. She happened to be doing a role that was grey & already scripted to get more negative. Bad timing - coz hero ki real-life heroine itni negative & unpopular kaise ho sakti hai? Achcha nahin lagta, na!

Add to that, fans were shipping him with the onscreen FL who happened to steal a march over his GF in performance & popularity. Fans rubbing this in more than necessary. GF ko bura toh lagega, na?

What can our hero do in such a situation? He can either be ultra professional but it may be damaging to his GF’s image esp as they may be considering future as leading couple in a show. They want to be like that Simar lady & her hubby.

Or they could defuse the situation by her leaving the show gracefully citing impending marriage.

Or they could behave as they are doing, putting her image & their couple image over the demands of the show & try to do damage control by whitewashing her role even at the cost of the show. Yehi ho raha hai. I am concerned iss chakkar may the hero may lose his sheen & fans.

Sad Sad Sad..

This was not even about Sairat or the show for me, it was about what are we supporting and preaching just because we cannot accept the backlash a character dear to us is getting.. They are actors.. they have certain degree of responsibility towards the fans who follow them blindly..

I so agree with you.. Today it was not just foolish , but extremely irresponsible on their part. A love for a character cannot make you justify invasion of personal space.. Imagine a jheth doing it to his brother's wife.. having romantic feelings for her.. touching her forehead while she is asleep ,after throwing the husband out? Staying in the room when has been asked to step out, to maintain distance..? Can it be called concern? Can anyone dare call it concern and care?

Honestly this actor is just as delusional as the character of Pakhi. It would have been caring behaviour if she didn’t stop his wife from attending to her husband. Pakhi is merely harassing Virat! Unless Virat wants to be harass and Neil is not portraying it in that manner?
