Veer and his alcohol addiction

The episode today gave a glimpse of Veer Prathap Singh's life. But the one thing that got highlighted was the fact that Veer has been secretly consuming alcohol from the small day's. How did Veer as a kid manage to get alcohol? Or have the knowledge of alcohol? It seems like there is much more to the story.

I also want to know more about his and his mom's past. He blames her for everything.

I haven't watched the episode

Probably he was given small quantities as a child to make him sleep and then he learnt about it and started consuming on his own.

A lot of children are also prescribed alcohol if they are prone to cough-cold. That might be another reason. Let's hope they show something sensible. I'm not watching this show much now.

They showed a teeny-tiny clip of a small child falling down and probably young Veer on the terrace n Rani ma blaming him for his (brothers?) death?

Seems like a reason for his addiction. :( It's messed up

Yes, Veer started drinking alcohol after his brother's death only. This is why I had the doubt how he managed to find solace in alcohol, as he was too young to understand the effects of alcohol. Also, Veer's step dad doesn't drink, so he got the knowledge from someone else.
