But I do agree that he himself has backed off once again from an open invitation from Malini to tell him the truth (this time she wasn't even doing the panic attack nautanki to freak him out, still he didn't tell her the truth....lol)....toh is sabke baad him going to Imlie and saying "Sach bolne ki himmat jutaa raha hoon" does sound hollow😆.....why make these vows of support to Imlie at a stage when he hasn't managed to resolve anything with Malini and it remains almost as convoluted as ever? Aditya still doesn't get the level of mess he is in vis a vis Malini.

The missing link is Adi feeling a connection to the depth of Imlie's pain right now and all that she is going through in being caught up in this horrible mess.....Yes he acknowledges that the mess is all of his making....and yes, Imlie herself is the type to keep downplaying her own pain while only propping up Malini.....but the yo-yo nature of all this starts diluting things after a while.

If indeed Imlie is Adi's primary priority now, it should reflect in the story.....and I mean beyond things like him not giving bhaav to Malini being in love with another guy😆.....it needs to reflect in his convos with Imlie beyond just repeating the support/saath wala dialogue over and over. And it will help if the writers give us a breather from constant Malini discussions in every damn scene.

@bold - This. The discrepancy is what is causing the frustration. If he does not want to tell the truth to Malini just yet, fine. If he wants to take time to sort it out, fine. Just do not let Imlie be the scapegoat in all of this. And not that he does not realize ki that’s what’s happening. He sees it and still goes about making promises that he will be unable to honor.

And I’m really unsure how they intend to show him protecting Imlie from Malini’s schemes that she will unleash soon. I’m pretty sure they will keep him out of the AC discussion or even if he does come in towards the end he will be overridden by Malini. Waltzing in at the end with a few good words to Imlie after she has undergone her share of abuse is not going to really serve the purpose is it? It will just continue to be a constant cycle of Malini schemes->Imlie suffers -> Aditya tries to save Imlie ->Malini comes in as the white knight. Or Imlie herself gathers enough strength to rebound and fight each time.

Re their convos: man, I really need it to be anything but sach, vaade or Malini. Like let them even discuss the weather but these three things. There is a lot of ground the makers have lost in order to fit in Malini and her neurosis.

And instead of calling her out apne hi guilt main chala gaya.. which pissed me more...I just wished he remained silent and nikal jaata room se didi phir ro leti.. but all his hosla dena just made it worse for me... adi supportive hone ka bhi koi time hota hai... the support we want for imlie he is making those exceptions for didi. Usko khoon bhi maaf hai while imlie is destined for insults by all.. baaki duniya kam thi ke ab T's have started tearing this poor girl too... any positivity they had is now changed into negativity and it just doesn't give you a reason to even hang in there too.

LOL you know first watch mein even I was pissed about the same things....I think this is a lingering effect of how tired we've all been of Malini this week....it saps our ability to try and view the dialogues/scenes from an overarching perspective then.

But then when I watched the scene again, Pam's take felt more valid vis a vis the blow Adi actually dealt her in that scene😆....you have to watch it with an irreverent frame of mind to appreciate it....and it's hard on a first watch cuz aajkal gaaliyaan hi dene ko mann karta hai😆....but thoda thande dimaag se phir se dekhne ka try karo and you'll see the hilarity in Adi's dialogues....she tried sooo hard to twist the knife into him....and Adi in his naivete or cluelessness - jo bhi samajh lo....he managed to literally destroy her with the very thing she likes to use to her own advantage....her mahaan image😆.

Yes in general it feels grating for Adi to think she is some himmatwaali mahaan soul but the scene gets more satisfying when you pay more attention to Didi ke pissed off expressions rather than Adi ke praises for her😆. 7 saal ka regard toh aata hi rahega in some form in their convos whether we like it or not....and yes I'm also excluding the red roses from this scenario now....lol cuz I've ranted all that out of my system for now. And yes, you also have to subtract the sindoor tamasha fights from your memory to view this scene as a standalone😆. Woh sab side pe rakh ke dekhoge toh you will appreciate Adi ne kya CHOP ki hai Didi ki even while calling her himmatwaali😆

As for Imlie....nahin I still don't think that Adi is giving Malini the support that we want to see him giving to Imlie....my irritation initially was that he is unable to see through Malini and usko dono Imlie and Malini mahaan lagti hain😆....but keeping all that aside for now. what he gave to Malini in this scene was mostly pity....and yes, some latent guilt but all mostly as a FRIEND rather than a husband.....wohi toh destroyed Didi....that her "husband" did not care about her having some other guy in her life. And Imlie ke case mein Adi will never be content just being a "friend"....we already know that😆....that's why different situation.

Problem is the drag and as you said, too much negativity from all angles....the writers need to fix that for the audience also to find a balance again.....let's see what next week brings.

Given that he couldn't even bare to see her days ago. It is adi in many ways ke help kqrega yet it didn't work in this scenario for.me.given how manipulative she was.. how cunning that lie was

And plz I Don't even want to.talk about the closeup of the bandage using that as a tool to extract emotions the psychotic way in which she was talking about u have betrayed your well you are right when you say you are darkness caz you literally have sucked life out.. you are actually worse than normal.darkness too.. she is woh daayans wala.kala saaya jisse log darte hain..

@bold: Chalo I'll play Devil's Advocate for Adi for a change today😆.....Yes, it's grating to watch him not get what a psycho sadist Malini is.....but if we just focus on that scene as a stand alone and aage peechhe ka side pe rakh do, he has no cause to believe that Malini would play him on that level na😆.....psychologically from his perspective, since he himself has gone through the experience of realizing he loves someone else, he's fixating more on THAT part of Malini's story.....and that is what he responded to in empathy with saying aap ki koi galti nahin kyunki aap khud ko nahin samajh paayi.

I think what the writers were trying to go for in that scene was Adi and Malini projecting their own viewpoints onto each other😆.....Malini was projecting all her views regarding jhoot and dhoka onto him even though she was referring to herself in her story.....while Adi was talking about her not being able to samjho herself but he was actually talking more about himself not having samjhoed himself 😆....woh baatein Malini ko keh raha tha but in many ways it felt like he was talking to himself😆.

As others have mentioned earlier in the thread, it was a window into how they spent 7 years together....koi ek baat bolta tha, uska matlab kuch hota tha, dusra samjhta kuch aur hota tha and aise hi presumptions karte gaye for 7 long years.....so called "ghanto tak baatein" aise hi ki lagti hain😆....while talking past each other....lol

Anyways yes, Adi got played in this scene....but Didi got CHOPPED even more😆....so I guess that counts for something.....lol....baaki aage dekhna padega how much he fixates on feeling a kinship with Malini over this or manages to remember ki usko Imlie ka saath dena hai pehle :P

As for Malini being the personification of darkness...woh toh prove ho hi chuki hai....she has literally sucked the life out of every character in the last two weeks......but light has to return eventually....all that remains to be seen is humari patience kitni bachegi tab tak😆

LOL after two days of non-stop ranting and pessimism 😆, I'm feeling a little hopeful again. At the very least, next week will have more college scenes of Imlie....so atleast scope hai of discussing college related events/incidents whenever Adi-Imlie get to talk.

Waise bhi I think once Malini is back in the house, everyone will settle in a bit again.....yeah I don't doubt Malini still will be up to her lame tricks but the level of high voltage it got the last two weeks might be toned down for a bit cuz bahut heavy ho gaya hai....so that might give scope for our regular chirpy Imaliya to make a reappearance. Again, this doesn't mean I think we are going to get our regular level of content....script ka mess I'm resigned to in a sense for now but I do think turning the page from this Malini suicide drama and back to Imlie's college scenes will help a bit.

The line regarding how Imlie tolerated seeing him with Malini, it was quite perplexing to ask because he's only starting to ask her now when this became a complicated mess for him whereas she still was strong enough tolerate it despite suffering from the repercussions post their marriage & that too, at his choice.

Suddenly, saying "sab thik hojaega" etc just doesn't carry the conviction that he can tell the truth since it's just suffocating him & it is HE who cannot tolerate Imlie to continue to demoralize herself because he feels low. Imlie has been feeling low & she's seen them for the past 7 months, so now asking how she tolerated it, sorta raises the question as to whether he really is ready to blurt it all out.

So that line was not a problem for me. He was talking about the present where his feelings have been made clear toh that aspect was fine - he cannot begin to fathom seeing her with someone else so is flummoxed by the strength she shows in that respect.

Problem was the I will shield you from all and everything bad. How does anyone go about promise something of that magnitude when he himself is in a limbo?

Interjecting here to LOL cuz I just remembered again how he asked her to go marry someone else multiple times 😆....I believe I must have heard him say "apni umar ke kisi achhe ladke se shaadi kar lo" too😆....and then this same guy was chasing her through the forests of PD, begging for forgiveness on his knees😆

So yeah, flummoxed is the word cuz isse khud toh bilkul nahin ho paata digest ek second ke liye Imlie ko kisi aur ke saath dekh paana despite all the bakwaas he did😆......but that is why she is Imlie, Babusahib....you no can be Imlie....no one can....cuz no one thinks like her😆

Reminded again of one of my fav. lines from the diya guarding scene....he was confounded back then also that she kept asking him to return to Malini....isliye aaj bhi puchhta hai ki tum kaise dekh paayi mujhe kisi aur ke saath😆

Haha. I sure hope so 😆 Manifest it off I say 😆

As long as Imlie comes out of being a zombie, everything should be good.

I think resigning to tardy storytelling is a given. Atleast until the situation in MH improves and cricket gods clear the way.

Agree- I am also waiting for college scenes to start. At least both of them can talk about something else other than sach bolna 😆 but we will have at least one day of drama because AC is in the house😆 I think Imlie will say she will go to the hostel - even the Ts want that. Let’s see if she actually leaves or didi will play mahaan card as usual stopping her.

But looks like some college scenes are coming up for sure - so will def get a relief from last week 😆

I.will try and watch again.. thanks for the hosla will get back to you on it. Didi ka chop toh kia hi tha woh toh I enjoyed the bit where he tells her ke hum toh dusre hain the first time too .. 🤣 ke humein kya buran lagna bura usko lage jiske liye kia and then didi ka phoot phoot ke Haye mera pati care nahinkarta.. but everything else just made me so sick in stomach ke mujhse nahi ho raha tha bardaasht and meri himmat bhi nahi dekhne ki again.. it is not like I wasn't expecting bad ya mere koi expectations thay but it felt just too much of a torture as if humare uppar direct attack kar rahe Hon lol

Yes, Monday will deffo go in the drama of AC wanting Imlie out of the house...it might even carry over into Tuesday if Adi-Malini ka journey back from the hospital ends up being dragged out too😆...cuz they will deffo try to show the two things in parallel.....Imlie being asked to leave T house and Adi bringing Malini back to T house.....Didi will deffo conveniently return just in time to play mahaan and get credit for keeping Imlie in the house....that way Aparna aunty ki wish of "bahu ghar waapis aa jaaye" will be fulfilled with both bahus staying put for now😆

Anyways, they can play whatever mahaanta card...I'm resigned to it....waise bhi Imlie won't come out of her zombie mode until Didi comes back to the house...so if this is what it takes...so be it for now😆
