hey ppl...heres a little abt sumitra
usually people know very less of the second queen of dasharatha- sumithra..as mentioned she was his second queen. She like Kaushalya was a gem f a woman..very virtuous and pious. She used to keep kaushalya as a role model and also took her to be an elder sister. But after the putrakameshti yagya ( pooja done for attaining children).. when each of the queens were given a portion of the payasa..they were supposed to bathe and have it..but when sumitra went to have her bath she was lost in thoughts .. she thought tht there was no use even if she bore a son as kausalya's son was sure to become the emperor..but this was just a small thought..no sooner she thought abt it an eagle took away her portion of the payasa ..thus kaikeyi and kausalya gave part of their payasa to sumitra tht is why lakshman is a part of ram and shatrughna a part of bharath bcuz the two parts were given by kaikeyi and kausalya who were their ctual mothers 😊
