Wonder how much of this because of his great relations with shazia wajahat’s family? I know he been doing decent in raqs e bismil, but still a lead level role with a big actress is a mountain too big for just his performance in the drama.

I did not know he had good relations with Shazia Wajahat's family. I do think there's good relations between someone in his family with Momina Duraid because he jumped on HUM TV and went from 9PM main to 8PM 2nd lead instantly. Now he's about to be 8PM lead. Quite a upgrade, something even actors that have been here for a while haven't done like Danyal Afzal.

Yea he is always in the parties of wahajat Rauf. And he is always close to them. So he must be very well connected with them.
