Yeah! I feel "smitten" is the right word. When she entered her hostel saying sirif ek dinner hi hai, and then that escalated to "lekin tu yeh toh dekh, kiske saath jaa rhi hai, PS ne invite kia hai tuje". Even during her realisation , she was only telling Reema, how much he helped me and I couldn't do anything for him. Also, the fact that he listens to her, adds on. She's smitten but not in a blind way. She does tell him when he's wrong. She knows his weaknesses. But she chooses to see the good part where she feels extremely safe, protected and cherished. She was really tocuhed that he came all the way behind her to stop her from leaving. She likes the fact that Shaurya's actions are so out there. It wont be wrong to say that she likes the way SS acts around her. He does treat her like she's his girl already. And Nikki likes that he does so much for her. His "out there" wala pyaar is what she really likes.
He acts crazy and she just laps up all that attention!! His EXTRA way of showing his possessiveness!
