SUVARNA- stop stop stop..

Suvarna yelled at the cab driver to stop at the entrance of the building. She gets down from the cab and started shouting at the driver.

SUVARNA- kitna dhire gadi chalaya tum.. I got late because of you, stupid..

The taxi driver scrunched his eyebrows hearing Suvarna's scoldings.

DRIVER- oh madam.. Mumbai hai ye. Kitna traffic rehta hai malum hai kya tumko.? Abhi dekha na..

The driver too started giving her back answers while she looks shocked at him.

DRIVER- ghar se jaldi nikalna chahiye na.. swataha chuktat ani oradtat amchyawar.. (Make a mistake yourself and accuse we people..)

The driver said in his typical Maharashtrian tone, mixing Hindi-Marathi together. Suvarna looks at him in confusion with his language.

SUVARNA- what.?

The driver hits his hand on his head looking frustrated.

DRIVER- kuch nahi.. paisa do..

He asked her to pay the charges while she started checking for the money in her hand bag.

DRIVER- lavkar kara ho madam.. (do it fast madam..) mereko jana hai..

Suvarna gave an "angry" look at the driver who was in a hurry. She forwards the 500 rupee note to him. The driver looks at the cash and then at Suvarna.

DRIVER- chutta nahi hai..

Said the driver denying to take the cash from her making Suvarna to fume more in anger.

SUVARNA- when do you people have change with you then.?

The driver rolls his eyes in disbelief and points his hand towards her.

DRIVER- dimag khoti naka karu madam.. (don't make me pissed off madam..) Mumbai me naya hai kya tum? Pata nahi kya subah koi auto taxi wala chutta nahi deta.?

Suvarna sighed in disbelief, making a huge effort to control her anger and gave a stare at the driver.

SUVARNA- keep the change..

She threws the note on his face and started running from there towards the entrance.

DRIVER- areh dewa (oh god) iss sheher me adhe se jyada log yede (idiotic) hi ate hai..!

The driver commented looking at Suvarna's direction. He ignited his cab engine and left from there. Suvarna came running to the Raghuvanshi enterprises, as she was getting late on her first day of her job. Dressed in her white and peach color formal attire, she ran inside the main gate and quickly moves towards the lift. She was waiting for the lift to open for her so that she could reach upstairs, near the MD's cabin where they have to report themselves.

SUVARNA- oh god.. this stupid lift.. Payanarratu.! (Useless.!)

She muttered under her breath getting frustrated, blaming the lift for her delay. She checks her wrist watch for the time.

SUVARNA- 9:25..??

She looks shocked as they have to report at 9:30 am sharp. She has already got a reminder from the other employees to be on time as Ram Raghuvanshi is very punctual. Soon, the lift opens for her and in a blink she got inside, pressing the button number 4 for the fourth floor. She was continuously patting her hand on her folder which she was holding, getting impatient. As the lift opens for her on the fourth floor, she ran in a full speed near the other three new joiners who were already standing at the passage in a line. She gains everyone's attention towards her as she was breathing heavily due to her marathon run.

SUVARNA- thank god... I am on time..

Said Suvarna looking to the girl on her left who just gave a light smile at her. She gulped her emotions and keeps her hand on her chest to stop her racing heart beats.

SUVARNA- tannir.!? (Water.!?)

Asked Suvarna to the same girl. She looks at her in confusion as she didn't understood what Suvarna is saying. Suvarna rolls her eyes in disbelief.

SUVARNA- I'm asking for water..

Said Suvarna sounding annoyed while Tanvi forwards her water bottle to her.

TANVI- relax..

Suvarna snatches the bottle from her and started gulping it in a go for which Tanvi gave a strange look at her. After a moment, everyone's eyes falls on the right side near the passage from where Ram along with Bharat, Lakshman and Shatrughan with few staff members were moving towards them. Suvarna's eyes immediately caught Ram who was busy discussing something with Sumant on his iPad. She puts the bottle on the other side near the table and turns to face Ram again. She kept on staring him until all of them reached near the new joiners.

RAM- ok Sumant ji.. prepare for the presentation after lunch break.

Sumant nods at him in agreement and steps a step back making Ram to stand in front of the new joiners. Ram turns towards the four of them while the boys too stood behind him.

RAM- so.. good morning all of you..

Ram greeted them with a warm smile while the four of them reverts his greetings with a smile, answering together-

"Good Morning Sir"

RAM- first of all, congratulations to all the four of you on joining us.

Said Ram looking at each one of them with a smile. Suvarna too gave him a smile while Ram continued.

RAM- this is Ram Raghuvanshi, managing director of the Raghuvanshi enterprises. I'm sorry I could not conduct all of yours interview, but I am sure that my team has done a great job by appointing you people..

Said Ram turning towards his brothers and the other staff members. Suvarna looks at his direction and found Lakshman standing between Bharat and Shatrughan. Her concentration falls on Ram again as he continued.

RAM- I am sure you all have done a great job in your previous companies and your skills and talents will be a great addition to our company.

Said Ram for which Suvarna's smile widens. She looks quite excited to start her work as it was her first job.

RAM- so. Without wasting a moment let's start with the day. Welcome to Raghuvanshi enterprises..

Ram smile looking at all the four employees who answered him together-

"Thank you Sir"

RAM- all the best..

Ram turns to leave towards his cabin making Suvarna a bit confused. She was expecting a personal talk with him, as they are known to each other from their last two meets. Her thoughts broke as her eyes falls on Lakshman who smile looking at the other three new joiners. His smile gets disappeared as his eyes falls on Suvarna. Both of them stare each other for a moment when the flashbacks of their all the fights flashes in front of them. He ignores her and directly moves towards his cabin with Bharat and Shatrughan.

AMAN- everyone of you are requested to move towards your tables. I'll catch you four in a minute..

Said Aman for which the three joiners nods at him and moves towards their places while Suvarna kept on standing there.

SUVARNA- thankfully I was on time.

Suvarna sighed in relief closing her eyes for a moment. Suddenly her cellphone rang gaining her attention. She takes the cellphone from her handbag and looks at the caller which shows "Anna"

SUVARNA- whenever he calls, my whole day gets destroyed..

Said Suvarna looking annoyed. She didn't received his call and it went unanswered. At the next moment, again she gets the call from her brother making her to look more frustrated.

SUVARNA- sorry Anna.. I am not going to talk with you.

She said to herself looking at her phone's screen and disconnects the call, keeping her cellphone in her bag. She joins her hands, closing her eyes, to pray the God.

SUVARNA- Aiyoo Katavule.. (Oh God..) It's my first day of work. Please be with me..

She opens her eyes, and touches her forehead with her fingers lightly, in a prayer.

SUVARNA- aur jitna possible ho, utna uss Lakshman Raghuvanshi ko merse dur rakhna baba..

Said Suvarna to herself in her typical tamilian accent. She takes a deep breath and smile looking at the direction of her table. She started moving towards her table and keeps her bag on the chair. She looks at her computer, her folders and everything kept in front of her at her table. At the other moment she smile wickedly.

SUVARNA- Anna.. now I'll show you what I can achieve.. and I don't want you, your name and your status for anything..

She muttered under her breath and gave an evil smirk, as the new determination took birth inside her...

Kranti descend down the stairs and her eyes falls on Manvi and Shruti who were busy in their work, sitting on the couch in living area.

KRANTI- Manvi... Shruti...

She gains both of theirs attention and moves towards them.

MANVI- ji maa.?

KRANTI- Siya aur Urmila kaha hai ? Kahi dikhayi nahi de rahe..

Said Kranti looking around her and then at the girls. Manvi and Shruti looks at each other for a moment and then at Kranti.

SHRUTI- wo maa.. Urmila dii ki ek friend ayi hai Mumbai me.. so she has gone to meet her, with Siya dii..

Shruti gave an excuse which they have decided, as no one in the house has to be known that Siya has gone to visit the doctor. Kranti nods her head lightly thinking about something.

MANVI- what happened maa.? Kuch kehna hai.?

Manvi asked her witnessing her facial expressions. Kranti smile at them and moves more closer to settle down beside them.

KRANTI- wo.. Siya kaisi hai.?

Both the girls looks confused with Kranti's sudden question.

MANVI- why did you asked like that maa.?

Manvi cross question her sounding confused. Meanwhile Sumitra came near them from her room looking at the ladies having a talk.

KRANTI- nahi wo..aise hi.. I mean.. tum logo ki bate hoti hongi na, you know sister's talks..

Said Kranti moving her fingers in an apostrophe action for the word "sisters talk". Manvi and Shruti understood what she meant and is actually talking about.

SHRUTI- ha.. dii to.. theek hi hai.. I mean.. everything is fine maa..

Said Shruti with a smile for which Kranti nods her head lightly, not getting fully convinced with her answer. The girls looks at Kranti and then at Sumitra who actioned them to leave inside.

MANVI- maa.. hum aate hai..

Manvi and Shruti excused themselves and leaves upstairs while Sumitra settled down beside Kranti gaining her attention.

SUMITRA- ye aap kya kar rahi hai didi.?

Kranti scrunched her eyebrows with Sumitra's question.

KRANTI- matlab.?

Asked Kranti getting confused. Sumitra sighed looking down and then again looks at her.

SUMITRA- Siya ke piche mat padiye didi.. wo pareshan hojayegi bechari..

Kranti's eyes grew wide in shock. She very well understood what Sumitra meant by those words.

KRANTI- areh.? Why you all think that me Siya ke piche pad rahi hu.? I was just.. genuinely concerned..

Said Kranti nodding her head lightly for which Sumitra uplifts her one eyebrow giving her an expression of "oh really.?". Kranti understood her stare and looks baffled.

KRANTI- ok.. I agree.. thodi excited dikh rahi hu..

SUMITRA- thodi.?

Sumitra immediately questions her making Kranti more baffled. Sumitra chuckled looking at her while Kranti pouts at her reaction.

KRANTI- not done Sumitra..

Kranti folded her hands in a complain while Sumitra nods at her in disbelief.

SUMITRA- didi.. relax.. decision Ram aur Siya par chod diya hai na.? Then why this excitement.?

Questions Sumitra making Kranti to look at her.

SUMITRA- please thoda patience rakhiye.. they both know what they want..

Kranti smile at her words and nods in agreement.

KRANTI- me.. wo typical saas to nahi lag rahi hu na.?

Asked Kranti for which Sumitra scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

KRANTI- Siya mujhse irritate to nahi ho rahi hai na.? I mean I don't want to irritate her.. I just want her to feel free..

Sumitra smile at Kranti's genuine words. She placed her hand on Kranti's lap.

SUMITRA- Siya has a great respect for you. Aap usse jo bhi kahengi, wo usse zarur samajhdari se sunegi..

Sumitra makes Kranti believe with her soothing words. Kranti's smile widened hearing her. She sighed in relief looking at the other side when Sumitra continued.

SUMITRA- didi... Kal kya hai.. do you remember.?

Kranti motioned her eyes to look at Sumitra and found her already staring at her. She nods her head lightly in yes.

KRANTI- masi ka birthday..

Said Kranti giving her the answer. It was Mandira's birthday next day, but the ongoing "relationship scenario" between them, made Kranti to not react more.

SUMITRA- you want to have a talk with her.?

Asked Sumitra wanting to know her will. Kranti shook her head in no.

KRANTI- unhe me call, birthday wish ke liye karungi and... Wo kuch aur hi bolne lag jayengi..

Sumitra didn't react anything and just nods her head. Kranti smile looking at her.

KRANTI- let it go.. we will pray to God for her goodness..

Sumitra smile at her nodding in agreement.

SUMITRA- ofcourse..

Both the ladies went silent saying nothing further. Kranti again went in the thoughts about Siya while Sumitra kept on looking at Kranti thinking about Mandira...

After the dinner, Ram opens the door of his room and his eyes travelled all over the room to search for his dear wife.

RAM- Siya ?

Ram calls for her, looking at the direction of the balcony but she was not found there too. He moves towards the washroom and gave a light knock on the door.

RAM- Siya...

He calls her keeping his palm on the door but didn't heard anything from inside. He looks confused.

RAM- kaha chali gayi.?

He was thinking about her presence when his eyes falls on Siya who entered the room.

RAM- kaha chali gayi thi aap.?

Ram immediately questioned Siya moving towards her making her a bit puzzled.

SIYA- yahi to thi..

Said Siya moving her head sideways, giving a casual answer.

RAM- kaha.? Me abhi niche se hi to upar araha hu.. aap nahi thi waha..

Said Ram having a minute expression of strain. Siya looks at him in disbelief.

SIYA- Shruti ke sath terrace par thi Ram..

An unknown expression of relief is seen on Ram's face as he got to know about Siya's whereabouts.

SIYA- me aapko do minute ke liye bhi dikhayi nahi deti.. to aap itna kyu pareshan hojate hai.?

Asked Siya sounding lightly annoyed with Ram's unwanted concern. She moves towards the wardrobe and open its door.

SIYA- do minute ke liye itni pareshani? Do din, do hafte.. ya fir.. do mahine ke liye kahi chali gayi to.?

Ram gave a shocking look at her while Siya smile at his reaction.

RAM- you are not going anywhere.. me aapko jane dunga tab na aap jayengi..

Said Ram folding his hands, almost giving a warning to Siya for which she nods in disbelief.

RAM- and now you're going to scold me for this or what.?

Questioned Ram giving a look at Siya. She turns her head to look at him and giggles at his words.

SIYA- daat nahi rahi hu.. I'm just pointing out your purposeless worries..

Ram didn't answered her anything this time, while Siya turns towards the wardrobe where she has kept a file at the shelf. She took the hold of the file and turns to look at Ram who was now moving towards the bed, taking his phone with him. She closed the door of the wardrobe and takes the file towards Ram, standing beside him.

SIYA- Ram..

He motioned his eyes towards her as he heard her calling him. She forwards the file at him making his eyes to travel towards it.

RAM- ye kya hai.?

Asked Ram taking the hold of the file. He looks at the hospital "+" mark on the file's front cover.

RAM- what did the doctor said.?

Ram stood up immediately asking her the question as he came to know that Siya had visited the gynaecologist.

SIYA- routine checkup kiya.. waise to sab.. theek hi hai..

Siya paused after saying the words making Ram to look at her getting restless.

RAM- aage kya.?

Ram asked her to continue while she gave him a light smile.

SIYA- case of anemia.. between mild and severe..

Ram's expressions grew more worried, witnessing that Siya is being a patient of anemia. He opens her file and started looking at her reports.

SIYA- but doctor said it's normal.. preconception ke time or else during pregnancy also.. anemic hona. It's normal nowadays..

Siya gave him the explaination as she could easily guess his tension from his facial expressions. He motioned his eyes to look at her.

SIYA- kuch supplements aur. Diet chart diya hai.. it will help..

Said Siya with a smile. Ram keeps the file on the bed and holds Siya from her shoulders.

RAM- pakka na.? Itna hi kaha doctor ne.. are you hiding something from me.?

Asked Ram uplifting his one eyebrow while Siya gave a look at him.

SIYA- ask Urmila if you want. Wo thi mere sath..

Said Siya in a disbelief while Ram smile at her. He takes a deep breath and continued looking at her.

RAM- from next time I will come with you..

Siya nods her head in agreement. At the other moment she again calls him.

SIYA- Ram.. wo... Ek aur baat..

Ram nods at her lightly while Siya looks down for a moment gaining the words to speak.

SIYA- doctor ne kaha.. ki..aaj se my preconception counselling has started.. so.. there should be a gap of three to six months before the actual attempts.. to conceive.

Said Siya for which Ram nods at her in agreement.

SIYA- and.. next week.. there is a pre-screening test.. bas chotasa test hoga.. that's it..

Ram smile at her words and again nods in agreement. He looks at the file which was placed on the bed while Siya observed his expressions.

SIYA- are you tensed.?

Ram again turns to look at her. Her question again gets repeat in his mind and he shook his head denying.

RAM- tensed nahi.. bas little excited.. little scared..and a lot happy.. sab kuch new hai na..

Said Ram with a wide smile on his face. Siya too gets a smile hearing his words. He moves closer to her and wraps his one hand around her shoulder.

RAM- how you are feeling.? After visiting the doctor.?

Siya looks at his face and didn't said anything, rather she didn't got any words to express her feelings. She sighed with a smile and keeps her head on his shoulder.

SIYA- relieved..

Ram caresses her shoulder lightly while Siya continued.

SIYA- this was needed.. for us..

RAM- hmm... specially for you..

Siya smile and gave a light kiss near his shoulder. Both Ram and Siya looks at each other for a moment. Siya gulped looking at his stare while Ram placed his hand on her cheek. His other hand travelled from her shoulder to her back, holding it lightly while Siya wraps her arms around his waist. The silence in the room got disturbed with Ram's cellphone making Ram to look at the bed where it was placed.

RAM- Siya.. office ka hai..

Said Ram releasing Siya immediately from his hold while Siya looks surprised at his reaction.

SIYA- Ram..??

Ram takes his cellphone and was about to swipe to answer when he heard Siya.

SIYA- aise to.. milne se rahi hamari good news..

Said Siya in a complain, folding her hands near her chest and giving an angry stare at him. Ram smirk hearing her words and at her reaction and answered his call.

RAM- yes Gaurav.?..... What's with the report...??.... Hmm.....

Siya pouts at him while Ram got busy in his phone call. She looks at her hospital file on the bed and picks it up. She smiles looking at the file and then at Ram's direction who was now standing near the window, speaking with his office employee. She shook her head in disbelief and moves towards the cupboard to keep the file back...
