They've started to close vaccination clinics because they're running out of vaccine as well. We've had so much community spread and now with the double mutant variant, the transmissibility has increased so has the mortality. It's really scary that people don't take it seriously. People have become so lax when it comes to masks, even in my family, they're having engagements, weddings, and festivals. It angers me so much.

Omg same!!!! Locals are not sane either. So many festivals, weddings and all the unnecessary bang! 😡

I pray that people get some sense and understand the reality

Have you seen the pics from the Kumbh Mela? It's ridiculous how ignorant people are. And all in the name of religion. I don't know what type of moksham you get from spreading an illness and killing others.

But on a serious note when I saw pics I thought they were from previous years and then I saw one or two wearing masks and realized it’s this year🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It's just pure ignorance. People take the spread so lightly and explaining replication and mutations of the virus is impossible.

The people who went to Kumbh, went back home and probably spread it too. And since we stopped tracing, we won't even know where and how the surge happens.

My immediate family has done a good job just staying at home. My extended family has a lot of youngsters who are sick of being kept at home. Mind you they all live such comfortable lives that the only thing they miss during this pandemic is friends.

My heart breaks to see people suffer due to pure negligence. So many of my family members are affected I can’t even began to tell. Some claim they didn’t step out and yet got 🙄🙄🙄 couple of folks are in hospitals. My mom has told me not to come home for next 2 years lol

Oh man, that's soooo sad. I pray you get to see your mom sooner than that.

My mom wants to go to India this summer since her mom is there alone. My grandmother is getting older. I'm sooo scared to have mom go, but she's been fully vaccinated here. I don't know where India is going to end up. How many will we lose before it hits a plateau.
