I do sympathize with Babli(I'm an older sister myself)....she did help her sister run away from a wedding....and even handed over her gold for her college payment. I'm trying to figure out where some of her resentment towards Shaurya(specifically) comes from though. Like you said it doesn't go with her personality.

I must have missed that. That for sure would seal the deal. Shaurya hasn't been redeemed in Babli's eyes yet.

I wish I could get a scene where Babli and SS directly interact with each other.... even if it's Babli asking him to stay away from her sister... Then we would get to know why she doesn't like him.

I feel it comes from the fact that she understands the class difference they have and moreover she knows how aastha has been treated by Shaurya himself let alone the family. So she is protecting Nikki.

Wama reminded me that Babli knows about the library incident. That would be ample reason to not like Shaurya.

I want the confrontation too. I want to see Shaurya speak measuredly about how he feels about Anokhi. I want Babli to hear the sincerity.

When she was leaving for kapurthala she went to meet babli first and babli was telling her ke unke sochne se kya hota hai tu badal gyi hai nikki blah blah

Yes plus her encounter with sab family

Na fam ki soch acchi na husband ki to its a complete no no

Plus astha living away from sabs so yes all this has planted a fear in her heart for her sister.
