Firstly, I haven't seen either of those movies, in fact, I've never seen any of Elliot's movies.

In my childhood, there were one or two guys in my class who were very feminine, behaved and talked like girls and had very feminine mannerisms. One even reportedly liked to put on make up. The class teased them and called them "ladyboys". It was cruel and shameful, but there was no awareness about it back then.

Today I know that they were trans. Back then I/we did not know that word, but we did know that they were like girls trapped in boy's bodies. We could see that they talked and behaved like girls.

THIS is what I meant when I said that transwomen are easily identifiable from their mannerisms (when they've not transitioned).

Your Elliot Page example is not valid here since I haven't seen his movies, nor do I know him in person to identify how his mannerisms were prior to coming out.

Excuse me, but please take down that sanctimonious tone down a notch. YOU are the one who engaged with me first.

I haven't contradicted myself anywhere. I repeat, I think cross-dressing is stupid but if someone wants to do it then they should have the right. Nobody should stop them from wearing what they want, but then nobody can stop people from commenting, either.

I was VERY clear as to what I said. You have problems grasping the concept of "supporting the right to do something even if I find it dumb".

As in, "I find your idea dumb as hell but still you have the right to practise it".

I don't get why understanding it is so difficult for you.

Ended from my side.

What? Couldn't find any response now? Thought so. As lame as your "digs". šŸ˜†

Anyway, I'm not in the habit of losing sleep over internet arguments, I'm a mature adult unlike some. šŸ˜›

Hope you get better at comprehending nuances and stop involving people in pointless conversations.

No no I have things to say but I know none of us will back down from out stance so the meaningless banter won't benefit anyone.

Well sure you're a mature adult.

@bold : honestly, I hope you stop taking every other disagreement as an attack on your existence.

As I said earlier also, let's not engage anymore otherwise this would evolve in something worse.

Let's agree to disagree. Since you can't understand to not respond anymore, I'll be the one not responding anymore.

Take care, girl.

That's all. And wats with this tangential discussions on "masculinity" and "femininity"???? He would be just as ridiculed, if not more ridiculed, if suppose, he wore an lungi on a tuxedo. Both masculine outfits, BTWšŸ˜†

He is unapologetic about his choice of clothes. People have been ridiculed him for a long time now yet he didn’t bother about it. Maybe it’s just his sense of style, even harry styles and many other celebs prefers similar clothing yet no one cares or calls him an attention seeker.

@bold - this again questions our mentality, where we can’t take anyone going outside of the box. If he/ she doesn’t wear a particular set of cloths they are labelled as ā€œweirdā€, ā€œattention seekerā€

Garbage mentality - Doing things like trolling people on their clothes choices. This is one's body , one has monopoly on it and has every right to wear whatever they want without being judged for it . Those who think it's cool to troll other people on their own personal choices like effing clothing choice needs to get a life and a job ( if they can manage to get themselves one.)

In many cultures there are dresses , ornaments that were / are worn by alpha males even , that may look like strange by their gender in other geophysical distributions/ cultures. Doesn't mean it gets invalidated.

RS can wear a tutu with a tea cozy for a hat , still no one has any right to troll or pass judgment on that. People need to learn to leave other people alone.

Oh Man! no is harassing or discriminating anyone here. He looks absurd in his tacky yellow colour suit too. Nothing about his masculinity, homophobia etc. Some people have really tacky taste and they look funny. Tomorrow you will say don’t laugh at clowns because they have feelings and it’s harming them? My point is if we take each and everything personally it will become too dark for us to live.
