I bet it's amusing for Ranveer to see the psychologically conditioned toxic masculine foot-soldiers of the patriarchy squirm and use humour as a coping mechanism reaction when their notion of gender conformity is put to the test.

Er, not sure we need to bring "toxic masculinity" into everything. Nobody digs men wearing skirts and dresses, and that's absolutely okay.

You do realize that there are indeed some men who prefer feminine costumes like clothes, accessories etc? You mean it is okay to troll such men calling them names, making jokes on their sexual preferences and making homophobic comments? You mean to say such men have to just live with these insults with no respite, because ‘nobody’ digs men wearing skirts and dresses?

Not making homophobic comments, but still it's okay to troll them. Many people troll Ranveer without being homophobic, and that's okay, especially since he does it for attention.

If a transwoman (person born male but identify as a woman) wears feminine clothes it's fine, but cisgender men wearing female clothing for attention deserve to be made fun of.

But what about the homophobic comments? Ranveer doesn’t even care apparently, but there are men who care and who live in a hell because of the mentality of these homophobes because they don’t ‘dig’ men wearing skirts and feminine costumes.

I have seen scores of people troll Ranveer without making homophobic comments. Homophobes will be homophobes no matter how people dress.

And yes, cisgender men wearing feminine clothes know that they're trying to be "funky" and "edgy", so they deserve the trolling.

How do you decide who is of which gender?

Why do they deserve trolling? Why can’t you just let people be?

.

Why do they deserve the trolling? 80-90% of cross dressers have always been heterosexual. It's not a new or edgy thing but even if it was that's not an excuse to troll. Why can't others let people do things that make them happy when it doesn't hurt anyone else? Besides, tights and high heels were first worn by men - not women. Fashion is fluid.
