@bold very well Mahisa, I'm sure you can educate me.

As I said, many people have already raised their points in replies to you already. But since you insist, I'll tell you what exactly I found ridiculous in your comments.

You said society as a whole doesn't accept men wearing clothes other than those deemed traditionally masculine and you call it "BS".

The same way, the society doesn't want to accept feminist ideas and wants to hold onto old patriarchal ideas. So only because society doesn't support the emancipation of women, will you also call that idea "BS"?

You never got what others were saying. Point wasn't about Ranveer or Billy Porter or why they wore what they wore. It was about FREE WILL.

It's OKAY if someone wants to dress different, whatever the reason be EVEN if someone wants to make fun of them or not talk to them over it.

Emancipation of women is supported by a large and voluminous section of the society. Even the most uneducated trashy anti-feminist person will not dare say out loud that he doesn't support women's emancipation. So there.

Emancipation and rights of certain communities are basic human rights. It's downright disgusting to compare that to something as frivolous as cross-dressing.

And, who ever spoke against free will? It's Ranveer and Porter's choice to wear what they want, it's people's right to tell them they look ridiculous. What you gonna do? Tape their mouths? Bring laws against free speech? If that suits you, go right ahead.

And finally, I think it's YOU who didn't get what people are saying. Nobody brought in free will here, they're all advocating gender-fluid clothing. Free will isn't even a point of discussion here. It's about forcing everyone to like and advocate cross-dressing, which isn't okay.

Why don't you take a stab? You can generalize like the man with the bowtie.

You can identify a transperson by their behaviour very easily by the way they talk and behave (if they haven't transitioned yet). That's what my point was, in response to the person who asked, "How do you know someone's gender?"

You could tell Elliot Page was a man even when he was playing roles like Kitty Pryde and Juno? How do you tell trans men from the butch lesbian? How did you come to possess the most sophisticated dar?

I drew out a parallel to show how lofty your idea is as to what is actually bullshit in your opinion but sigh, this isn't the first time I'm engaging with you and I should've known you'll take things in god knows what direction.

Point is Mahisa, your og comment on the thread said somewhat that it's stupid to wear clothes like Ranveer wore in the photoshoot and nobody would prefer it in real life.

I'm asking you how does it matter?? How does it matter if someone makes fun of people based on it as you said in a previous reply to me? This is why I brought up free will.

Your comment shows you don't respect if someone chooses to dress a way which isn't pre-decided for their gender. Moreover, it's proven by how you brought up that Billy Porter and Ranveer do it for "attention". Seriously lady, first you say it's ridiculous to wear then you say their intention of wearing it isn't right.

Aren't you against someone's free will to wear it?

Finally, I think you should look at your own comments throughout the thread and reassess all of them. You didn't comprehend them well or maybe you contradict yourself out of habit.

I end it here.

PS : One can be wrong sometimes and it's okay to not get overtly defensive about it. Nobody is attacking a person's sense of being if they disagree with their certain idea.

Rest you're intelligent enough to grasp.

Kindly do not engage with me any further. Thanks.

This is probably why someone on here doesn't like men wearing skirt type garments. Her hote hote hone wala patidev accidentally flashed his family jewels during wedding ceremony aur shaadi cancel ho gayi

Excuse me, but please take down that sanctimonious tone down a notch. YOU are the one who engaged with me first.

I haven't contradicted myself anywhere. I repeat, I think cross-dressing is stupid but if someone wants to do it then they should have the right. Nobody should stop them from wearing what they want, but then nobody can stop people from commenting, either.

I was VERY clear as to what I said. You have problems grasping the concept of "supporting the right to do something even if I find it dumb".

As in, "I find your idea dumb as hell but still you have the right to practise it".

I don't get why understanding it is so difficult for you.

Ended from my side.
