And in this particular photoshoot they experimented with many different looks

Kaun hai yeh apsara?

Anybody know who that female model featured alongside Ranveer is?

Maybe he's doing it to garner attention. Maybe he's doing it to express himself and is into experimental fashion. Either ways, every person deserves to be respected for their sartorial choices. I don't see why we should make fun of everything we don't understand.

I miss the time when we used to treat jokes as jokes. Everyone is so sensitive now

From 70s-90s Eve teasing, domestic violence and racism were considered as jokes. Will you still support them now? It’s not called sensitivity, we have evolved and we know how this “jokes” can easily stereotype people

Er, not sure we need to bring "toxic masculinity" into everything. Nobody digs men wearing skirts and dresses, and that's absolutely okay.

Absolute BS🤣🤣🤣

That’s called becoming more educated and learning the difference between what is a joke and what is not. That’s how we as mankind have evolved from the basic stone age to the present.

Is that a comeback? A-okay.

You dig men in dresses, most people don't and find it super weird and funny. "Gender fluid" clothing BS looks good on celebrities and in the social media. You try such crap in real life and people will start running away from you.

No it isn't a comeback, Mahisa. It was a dig.

I felt your comment was ridiculous and lacked insights on various grounds. But I thought you were intelligent enough to understand after close to a dozen people already pointed it out to you. This is why I felt I didn't need to explain myself. You can refer to all the previous messages by various members to understand because I agree with them one hundred percent.

I don't think you really know what "dig" means, Guneet. A dig is more sarcastic and intelligent. Simply saying "absolute BS" isn't a dig, that's just a very, very childish attempt at a comeback.

Yes about 2-3 people argued on this topic and I replied to them with points of my own, which they're yet to get back to. Bringing in dhotis, lungis and kilts into this conversation is pointless since those are already established as menswear since centuries.

Also, both Ranveer and Billy Porter dress that way for attention and to make headlines. Everyone knows it. That's why nobody tries to ape them in real while the fashion industry honchos praise them to look more "inclusive" and "woke".

This is all that is to this crap. Sorry if I sounds harsh, but this is the reality. This gender fluid clothing BS will stay confined to the odd celebrity appearance here and there, and social media. Nobody takes it seriously, and won't for a few more decades.

@bold very well Mahisa, I'm sure you can educate me.

As I said, many people have already raised their points in replies to you already. But since you insist, I'll tell you what exactly I found ridiculous in your comments.

You said society as a whole doesn't accept men wearing clothes other than those deemed traditionally masculine and you call it "BS".

The same way, the society doesn't want to accept feminist ideas and wants to hold onto old patriarchal ideas. So only because society doesn't support the emancipation of women, will you also call that idea "BS"?

You never got what others were saying. Point wasn't about Ranveer or Billy Porter or why they wore what they wore. It was about FREE WILL.

It's OKAY if someone wants to dress different, whatever the reason be EVEN if someone wants to make fun of them or not talk to them over it.
