She was just so UBER cute in this bit😆.....yes, I was totally hoping ki Adi aa jaata wahaan and could see her adorable antics😆....but I guess it wasn't meant to be at that point😆

And itna soch ke gayi ki Kohni will protect her from ragging, phir bhi bechaari phass hi jaayegi.....lol....waise I noticed she was standing outside the library when that incident happened in the precap....wonder if iska thoda bahut interaction dikhaayenge with college ke students before this ragging incident happens.

As others are mentioning here too, it's always been about control for Malini.....I honestly didn't want to think this of her....I was in the group that wanted to give her benefit of doubt that she is a nice but confused person despite the strange things she would do in her insecurity....I guess I wanted to believe the obliviousness facade rather than believe ki koi itna long term mask rakh sakta hai to control a person. Malini has done it so much more shrewdly than even her mom in a sense that it's kind of blowing my mind😆.

Now all the past scenes are coming to me in a different light....one of the Imlie-Malini scenes that I found so sweet was that "Mankua" wala scene in the hospital....lol ab realize ho raha hai that Didi ke andar kitni strong copycat tendencies thi from day one.....Imlie ne ek baar bola Mankua and Malini instantly latched on and repeated it cuz she wanted that limelight for herself too. I honestly didn't want to believe this of her...mujhe yeh soch hi badi ajeeb lagti hai ki log attention/limelight ke liye itni petty cheezein kar sakte hain😆.....but I guess I was also naive about it in some ways then😆....since it is now being proven that yeh pura khel hi attention seeking and control ka tha all along.

It does make me sad too....I wanted to believe that all the nice things that Malini was doing were coming from a genuine place....alas, all of that turned out to be a mirage....a game to gather attention/tie people to herself....what a sad waste of your life to conduct it like this.

Well she is whitewashing and justifying herself and Ali to god. She thinks Adi as an object or a robot who should have token of affection only for Her. Well this my first time calling her DD. I used to respect her but yesterday she killed it. I think this track will atleast make Imlie realize all that glitters is not god aband come out of her DD madness.

She considers herself as mahaan as she is kind to Imlie. She couldn’t tolerate others appreciating and respecting Imlie for what she is... all that came out while exercising her so called rights on husband. She considers herself to to be elite and people should automatically bow to her greatness.

Apart from that I wish I get one permission for murder it would be Prakash. After all the turmoil and hard life Meethi finally was happy, but it did not last for atleast 2 days. He can’t keep a secret of a friend, such a weak/spineless person. He couldn’t revert back to Adi, but have to blurt out everything to Meethi. Meethi has no one and no ways to get Imlie out of her current situation. She can’t get imlie back to village and she can’t go live with Imlie. Other than crying more and living in mosey what can Meethi do. Felt so bad for her, the actress did such a wonderful job.

Going back to the other posts in a bit so do not know if someone brought it up already. Did we notice the difference in first day of college bits between Malini and Imlie now? Aditya did not want to take the car with Malini and yahaan pe jhat se maan liya. Jitna she does not ask for anything, utna Aditya will do for Imlie. Even if it something as taking Nishant’s car.

bechari was seedha was going to her fav place library as mentioned and woh badtameez kids threw water at her.. though am kind of glad they didn't made it typical uncomfortable bullying wala ragging that I was dreading more esp when she was getting prepped at home esp based on her BG ...toh though cruel this felt more ok whatever so am personally glad it will circle around the sindoor drama and didi more in that sense than random people making fun if her belief system.ber appearance and her all.. with didi we are familiar and then woh character connect hai . Sure it will still enrage me but ohir bhi woh koi random.person bullying her nahi hai. IYKWIM..

Pehle Jamaai Babu se hoga one on one talk😆....I hope the scene lives up to its potential cuz that should be a powerful moment as Adi is confronted by the woman he had come to consider a second mother. He's already burning in the fire of remorse but he still hasn't really faced the full impact of what he's done.....when Mithi puts it to him, that is when it will hit him more....how all of this will be perceived by people who don't understand the sequence of events that happened.

Prakash ne toh casually aakar bol diya that Adi ne Imlie ko naukraani banaa kar rakha apne ghar mein but is that really the full truth? Is it not true that Imlie herself volunteered to hide the truth of her marriage to Adi first on that bus ki chhat? Is it also not true that Imlie herself stepped forward to give the impression that she is there to do kaam in T house when they were asking Adi who Imlie is? Yes, baad mein Adi also just let things continue as is for a bit but at no point was he "enjoying" keeping Imlie as a maid in his house as Prakash has made it sound to Mithi in this revelation.

As Adi rightly pointed out, Prakash ko kuch bhi samajhne mein der lagti hai...ya toh woh samajhna chahta hi nahin for his own selfish reasons😆.....Imlie clearly explained the whole issue to him but he obviously doesn't want to view it like that....he insists on viewing this as Adi taking advantage of Imlie cuz as long as Malini is in the picture as a second wife, the whole issue will continue to be skewed.

So yes, I do think when Adi gets a chance to talk to Mithi, he will give her the whole picture of what happened....I actually hope Adi-Imlie talk to Mithi together so that they are able to tell her everything as it happened and at what point, who insisted on hiding the truth😆. Adi also needs to hear how it feels from the PD perspective ki all of them considered his marriage with Imlie valid but he never did for so long and then he went and made it worse in his selfishness by marrying Malini....that way both relationships got disrespected...yeh kadva sach toh sunna padega Adi ko.....but Mithi ko yeh bhi sunna padega that her pyari bitiya herself handed Adi the sindoor to fill in Malini's maang😆.

Mithi will definitely come around if Adi shows a determination about making things right and giving Imlie her due rights....Mithi will instantly jump to Team Adi in a heartbeat over that....lol but yes, Imlie herself will remain the biggest roadblock in her determination to spare Malini didi the pain of losing a husband....not realizing ki she's already lost the husband at this point....token rishta nibhaane se woh saath nahin ban jaata.

I just wrote about it on another thread. Mithi talking to Aditya has to happen before anything else because they again need to bring out the difference between AC and Mithi. None of us need it but the broader audience I’m guessing.

I really would like a face to face but I would not mind a phone conversation too. These two are that good anyway.

SK will definitely not know right now. He is far too protective of Imlie to be able to spare Aditya.

But that is not the core audience....the core audience as you said, has latched on to the main nerve of the story which is Imlie.....the ratings wouldn't have been so steady if the audience didn't grasp that point regardless of whatever other cosmetic appearances are generated in the course of the drama. The loyal audience of the show is tuning in for Imlie's journey and her struggles....all the drama, the angst that swirls around the situations she's facing....her faith, her beliefs are the ones the audience sympathizes with as she's the one that's faced the biggest challenges and injustices in the story but always prevailed with resolve and a smile. What the writers have done effectively is woven in all the threads of the other equations into her journey very well....whether it's Adi, Malini, the Tripathis etc....all these threads weave into Imlie in some form or the other to keep the story moving....but she is the core that holds it all together. There is a reason the show is named Imlie😆.....and beyond all the noise and snap judgements, the core audience gets that.

@bold - 😲😲 who are these people and what are they watching the show for! 😆 I have no idea of TV audiences and this revelation is hilarious to say the least. It is interesting to read why people watch certain things and what makes it tick for them when it comes to ITV.

Re core audience - isn’t it fascinating that the makers have been able to put out something so layered and complicated, with new faces, managed to convey exactly what they wanted this far and have been successful doing so? Goes to show that the audience does not mind being challenged too with a story where there are no defined villains for the sake of it. They are probably already used to people being married twice - but I think Aditya being married to Imlie first was all they needed to get the sensitivity of the current situation. And like you said they have tied in pretty much everything to Imlie anyway, bas the gophers are never going to get it.

Imlie's education toh absolutely is top on the list of Adi's priorities along with ofcourse not letting her go away from him😆....ek snakebite nahin rok paaya tha Adi ka determination toh abhi Didi kya rokengi.....lol....duniya idhar ki udhar ho jaaye, Adi will fulfill that vow to help Imlie achieve all her academic potential.

Sindoor scene mein Adi barely had a dialogue but his expressions conveyed so much😆....his initial attempt to try to stop Malini from harassing Imlie over the sindoor, then him watching all disturbed as Malini wiped away the sindoor....you could feel his hurt for both Imlie and himself....and then his surprise as Imlie calmly reapplied the sindoor😆....what a journey it was for Adi also in that scene even if he was mostly a spectator.....lol

Also point to be noted didi went extra violent after it only when adi intervened and said let it be if she wants it then didi ko extra passion se saaf karna tha.. adi bechara toh khada dekhtabhinreh gaya at the suddenness of that reaction and then isse oehle ke kuch keh pqata to imlie bhi usne ohatt se dobata laga lia and he went more into shock 😲 haha but yes indeed he had quite a journey there in those 20, 30 secs

Ab woh suddenly SR ke din itna generosity dikhana and inviting imlie to her bedroom despite asi ka WTF regardless of the sach wali mystery makes so much more sense that came from this same lady who now cannot even stand inlie standing quietly on the side just about to leave after serving the dawaai like WOW malini went that far ahead knowingly to become mahaan ke it will be like look the girl sacrificed her big night and she will get so much more darja and izzat..
