She did Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. That film totally ruin her career.

Is this film ruin her career or her personal life regarding her affiars?

Don't know. Mid-late 2000s is a blur with so many bad movies. Why is Jhoom Barabar getting more credit of her doom than Jaan-e-maan?

Preity stopped doing movies, she wanted to marry and join IPL. That's what ruined her.

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was an awful film, but I don't think it ruined her career. It wasn't the kind of film where she had a lot riding on. Nobody was expecting it to be the film to get her awards. Post 2005's Salaam Namaste she seemed to have lost enthusiasm. She was heartbroken when she lost Best Actress awards for Veer-Zaara to Rani Mukerji. Rani then soared way way ahead in 2005 and 2006 and 2007. By 2008, Preity just didn't know what to do with herself. She tried to do that talkshow and had the cricket thing going on the side, and was looking to settle down.
