After Dostana 2 Kartik Removed from Kjo Next Movie - Page 19

Poor guy got kicked out bc he wouldn't do the PR relationship nautanki with Janhvi any longer so now there's a whole smear campaign to bring him down. I can't believe I actually felt sorry for Karan last year when everyone went after him. I have zero sympathy for him now; he deserves it. 50 years old and still acting like a mean girl in high school.

90% of the people you listed are industry kids. Karan can take attitude from Salman, but a little disagreement with Karthik and he is ousted. 😆

Where did that come from and why would Karan have swallowed 20cr over that.

He is a businessman - a very shrewd and successful one. He's not bunking a film and 20cr over a failed PR relationship/romance that lasted a couple of months - especially with a group of actors who've been playing relationship musical chairs over the last couple of years.

This movie started filming Nov 2019 and filmed until March 2020. It's been on hold since then because COVID and then a supposed lack of dates from Kartik and now new rumors there were arguments over the second half of the film and gay content.

He ousted Salman from Shuddhi (after he ousted Hrithik while he was recovering from brain surgery) - but he did it before they started filming which is what usually happens in films. Not after three plus month of filming - which rather indicates it was more than a little disagreement. No one swallows half a film and 20cr over a little disagreement.

You might want to check out the Govinda interview where he talked about shooting for Judwaa, only to have Salman push him out. 😊 The producer might be unwilling to waste money, but a star with enough clout can force the issue.

If Dharma comes out with details of what Karthik did, they might be believed. Otherwise, people are going to see the pattern and draw their conclusions.

I know my posts don't come across like that, but I generally like KJo even with his nose-in-the-air behavior. But he and Ranbir admitted to spreading gossip. They also implicated Kareena. It's on KwK for everyone to see.

#metoo allegations usually don't pop up once and disappear. Has there been any other allegations about SSR like that? Not only that, the girl denied IIRC BEFORE SSR's death. So yeah, rumors. They started somewhere.

Just few days back kartik bought a Lamborghini while the entire industry are going through financial crisis and most of the projects are withheld, now this replacement drama ...

Curious mind wants to know how much money kartik has got for this new natunki? (as public are no more interested in his pyaar ki natunki with annie pie, pataudi princess and Janu baby)

He can afford it. Reportedly he got paid 20cr for shooting 10 days for Dhamaka which is going to Netflix.

That's the film he shot when he reportedly told KJo he didn't want to resume shooting Dostana because of COVID.

What I dislike the most in that message being sent out is that Dharma wants everyone to believe to whatever extent negative we can about Karthik by saying 'we are maintaining a dignified silence'. There is nothing dignified about casting doubts about someone in other people's minds. Either tell what it is instead of implying they are taking the higher moral ground or they could have just shelved the project without doing this drama.
