I can't believe I actually felt sorry for Karan last year when everyone went after him. Sushant was never really a threat to any starkid so Karan didn't really have to plant a whole me too blind against him.. he really had nothing against Sushant.. for Karan, Sushant was just another actor who he could make fun of.. that's about it.. he didn't need to go out of his way to jeopardize Sushant's image.. Sushant's image already had taken a beating before the Metoo allegations too..

As for Kartik,it's obvious that if Karan was willing to reshoot a movie with a new actor and that too despite all the abuses hurled at him over Sushant, the matter must have been grave enough.. and this article doesn't really put Karan in a nice light so no way does it come from his PR

And don't you think there was someone behind the merciless character assassination he received? Not blaming Kjo but definitely someone or multiple someone were pissed at him. I am not saying Kjo is as evil as people make him out to be but he is a shrewd businessman just like anyone in this industry and he knows how gossip columns work.

Why only young actors with no film background are arrogant or perverted? I remember few days back there was a blind about Siddhant as well. There are numerous blinds about Kriti and others girls and nature of them is always maligning their character. Why no such thing is heard about Varun or Ranbir ( who already has reputation of playboy) or Arjun or Alia or Jhanvi?

Masand's eerie silence after Sushant's death was 'chor ki dadhi mei tinka'.. Can we really deny the toxic PR culture in this industry and how big guns abuse their power?

So i don't think there was someone in particular.. Sushant was an easy scapegoat for the gossip columns.. because he wasn't big enough to be a threat to them and also because I am sorry but his own past worked against him.. no one really had to dig too far to paint him as a womanizer..

Emraan for his whole life had to fight against the image created by his first couple of movies although he is much more than a serial kisser.. But once an image forms, beating it is difficult.. the same happened with Sushant.. he got the image of dumping girlfriend for fame.. what followed was a buildup of that

There have been blinds about Varun cheating on Natasha with Alia too.. and Alia dumping Sid for fame.. and letd not even bein discussing the blinds on Ranbir.. some of them were disgusting and that's putting it mildly.. but the difference is that starkids and their families know the drill.. they come out of such blinds unscathed.. The outsiders end up playing right into the hands of these gossip columnists

And of course there's abuse of power.. abuse of power happens in every industry.. BW is no different.. but that doesn't really mean that we can attribute everything to this abuse of power

I don’t think this case is as black and white as people are making out it to be .

Kjo loves nepo kids and is only chummy with outsiders who are successful , we know that already but I don’t see him doing this to Kartik just cause of that .

Kjo is petty but not stupid to take such a drastic step and announcing it officially after the heated nepo vs outsiders debate caused by SSR’s death. He would have used timing/ creative differences excuse to avoid him being painted as the bad guy but the fact that he has said nothing such in the official statement makes this very fishy . I believe something major would have happened otherwise kjo is too cunning to bring this up when there’s an active outrage towards him and the nepo gang .

And yes him breaking up with Ankita just gave them more fodder. Also just like Kartik has fallout with Dharma even he had a fallout with YRF. Even during Me too mess Sushant felt that he was being targeted by someone. Who was behind it we will never know because nobody cared to investigate that.
