Yes, that first episode was brilliantly done. Without words they told us about his loneliness, having all that wealth but coming home to a beautiful but empty home. The dressing did leave a huge impression on him because he knows that she, a woman, didn't do it expecting returns. It was genuine care.

He melted like icecream under the summer sun, but he cannot tell anyone that.

Makes him seem less like the Don he wants to be.
