Sometimes I become a foodie but mostly I eat to live
I eat because I have to. Not something I look forward to usually unless it's purely for the sake of company and the whole vibe. I've been cooking since the age of 10 so I never find food fascinating or 'exotic'. No matter how obscure a dish is, once I get to know what's in it I figure out what it tastes like and the curiosity sort of goes away. Not that there's much to begin with lol.
This affects your social life, pretty much everyone you meet is a foodie and when they get all excited talking about food you have a tough time keeping up . I can talk about food in a bland old womanish way but I can't ever say YUMMY . I've tried but my face gave it away that I hated saying it . Maybe there's a tongue version of frigidity and I have it.
I live to eat đ
I don't cook at all and order food all the time ( I know that it's not a healthy habit) and I spend my day thinking about what I'm going to order for lunch/dinner đ
Foodie for lifeâ¤ď¸
I think I have encountered only one or two people in my life who do not particularly enjoy food and eat only to live. In my uni I had this one girl who would have one piece of white bread with a spoon of honey in the morning, and for lunch & dinner a simple homemade ham sandwich- every single day... coz it's convenient đ¤
Like most people here, I am also a foodie- I can't think of a cuisine that I don't like and as I grow old I have started enjoying Ghar Ka Khana much more than I used to when I was younger. But over the last one year I have tried to develop a healthy relationship with food, and not turn to it to cure non-hunger symptoms such as boredom, stress, and sadness.
I â¤ď¸ Food.
I eat about 5-6 meals a day. But it's not WHOLE FEASTS every time. I eat smaller portions each time. When my belly is full, I stop eating. Then I eat again after 2-4 hours.
I've been doing this for a few years now.
Maybe that helps with maintaining weight.
I also must have super high metabolism because as I said I eat all day long, and overall it's a lot of food in a 24-hour period even with smaller portions - and I OFTEN get comments like "OMG you need to eat more" and I'm like honey I've already had 2 pizzas for br/lunch and 3 donuts with my coffee.
Now that I'm 35 I know metabolism will start to slow down, so I've upped my exercise regime. I will never not eat 3 pizzas a week!!!!!

I like watching food videos, but it normally dont taste as good, anyway I am bored eating the same thing, rice, bread, noodles etc
I hate some of the comments under those videos " Hmmm delicious. I will try it ". Wtf ? How do you know it's delicious if you haven't tried it.
" Looks yummy ". " Looks delicious".
I love cooking; eating not so much, tbh.
P.S. I've always been taught to respect food but I cannot eat bad tasting food.
Unfortunately, I am and even more unfortunately I am quantity over quality type of foodie. Don't ask, I have no explanation for it. đ
