He does not want to be the perfect man. Anokhi's presence, her thoughts are melting the image that he has created for the world. Every person wants to relive his/her childhood teenage days. Since Shaurya had an imperfect one, he is taking another shot at being a child/teenager with Anokhi, though not consciously and hence the frustration. Though him gatecrasing Anokhi's hostel is a bit too much. He is again misusing his power and position. And going to meet Anokhi because she is not picking up calls is not something expected from a 30 year old professor. I hope it is a phase that will soon pass. He will go back to his old self again soon with all the misunderstandings on the way.

What I don't want is Anokhi becoming his rehab centre. Shaurya's abandonment issues can be addressed by none other than those who are responsible for it, his parents. He should not have this unreasonable demand from Anokhi that she prioritise him over everything, not even subconsciously.

The CVs have conveniently forgotten about Anokhi's family. We don't see her talking to her mother. Infact, she could have easily went to Kapurthala and met her mother when she was more than halfway but decided to return to Chandigarh with Shaurya. We don't know how Bhalla and co. are faring after Raja's criminal act.

There is definitely lack of reflection on Anokhi's part. The story has been from Shaurya's pov for a long time. There was a lot of potential in Anokhi's character too. Nowadays it seems as if Shaurya is doing everything for her and she is just a passive character.

So many threads have been opened and which to fit where depends on the TRPs, actors' availability and the Covid situation.

Agree with every single thing you have written.

I don’t understand, is it so hard to focus on anokhi. They can focus on Shaan aastha; Devi shagun

But not anokhi and her feelings? They can’t show a small phone pe baat with her mother?

And this isn’t just some episodes but a lot, I don’t remember when was the last time anokhi pov was conveyed to us or when she talked to her mother...

And yes hopefully shaurya resturns back to his own self.

@Maroon - CVs have themselves prioritized Shaurya here.... As you described.. But in future I do want Anokhi to be the one to take lead and sort out her family issues... 😭I want her to get back to her talking to her parents again...

Since this is ITV there are very high chances she will be rehab center for Shaurya and go by his side..

@Blue - I doubt CVs have taken this seriously.... Or they are actually willing to consider his misuse of power and position in future to deal with it. They have brought this up time and again that I am director Reema, leave us alone... Paise ki garami...and kisi ki himmat ke mujhe rok sake... All these dialogues of his are really serious and offensive at times but they are being used as a candy to please fans and show Shaurya can do everything for love... Crap fest

Editing- not sure if it was purposeful or just ignorance today... The way Shaurya settled in Anokhi's room while Anokhi dried him was quite like... Sat like a king while she just helped him like some maid... I tried ignoring but had to add it somehere... I would like to believe that such a gesture was just ignorance on part of makers.

@Green - I hope they close the loop of family and Raja and Alok's kartoot is dealt with in future with same intensity... Or different to show how Saberwals differ from Bhallas...

I wonder if Mohor had same theme like Saakk or was theme purely love story? Theme for saakk is woman empowerment or bade logo ki choti soch se takkar leti aam ladki ki badi soch..

@Mohor's central theme was women empowerment. The male lead and his chhoti soch was not prioritised in the initial promos but there too the male lead became fan favorite and the tracks revolved round him. Somewhere down the line the original premise was forgotten and it became the story of the other woman's manipulations and brainwashing to get the ML back.

But the overall track writing is something that puts me off.

It’s like when you zoom in you will find such magical moments but when you zoom out everything seems out of place.

One thing I want to mention is the bridge scene was utter brilliance and his sorry did win me over so a job well done makers.

I feel one drastic change they should have made from Mohor was to not include acp.

Uske wajah se shaurya ka character has gone for a toss. I feel his falling in love phase should have been executed without jealousy factor coming in.

Though the episode where he realises anokhi is whom he is describing was so brilliantly executed.

For me the best part of shaurya was How he had this aura of assertiveness along with sensitivity. He was what I consider an amazing mix between full blown mcp and a sensitive man who is actually spineless in real (think Shaan)

I wanted HIM to be the one guiding HER, since he is the more mature one but look at him now; that Masculine aura is totally gone. I am all up for women taking the lead and I want anokhi to as well but in the future, in other matters But here I really wanted it to be shaurya. That only seemed natural.

Shaurya doesn’t seem like a man anymore that manly aura around him without his ott toxicity was what I loved about him; now he is total man child; and personally such men annoy me in reel and in real life.

His insecurities could have been handled in a much better way while still maintaining that charm around him.

Not the shaurya for whom I made my first ever post in this forum.

But out of all this,

The worst part is I feel anokhi’s side of pain is totally forgotten?!? And it is happening for quite some time now. Just one scene here and there aur khatam?

They don’t give her any monologues to express her pain. I mean her childhood trauma is no less than shaurya’s; it is equally disturbing as well; no focus whatsoever on her trauma.

And they portrayed it so well when she was in Kapurthala; city Badal ke trauma kam ho jata hai kya?

I get ki anokhi is someone who doesn’t tend to dwell in the past but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t felt the trauma and doesn’t have her shares of insecurities.

she is falling in love though gradually but At least give us some monologues naa; what is going on inside her head w.r.t her past, shaurya,Feelings, college, dreams, something?!

Shaurya gets so many monologues ( and I love it) but give the same to anokhi too.

Like how else do you expect audience to connect to her?

They need to give scope for deba to perform;

Yes, There are actors who with whatever little they get elevate the character but they are seasoned and quite experienced.

She is not; so writers should rightly take the effort to give her equally well written monologues that they give to shaurya.

Kv’s acting is a big part that connects us with shaurya but I feel even bigger role is shaurya’s well written monolgues; while forget well written, anokhi doesn’t even get one.

I feel they are hellbent on making anokhi a Rehab centre for shaurya while ignoring her own trauma and her own need to feel that security and love.

I really hope they don’t go that way and catch themselves before delving too much into it.

I hope this was a constructive criticism atleast for the most part; not hating on the show at all; infact it is still much much better that other shows but in aastha’s words: shikayatein bhi unhi se hoti hai jinse pyaar hota hai.

This was in my mind since anokhi has come back to Chandigarh so thought of getting it out of my system.

You narrated exactly my thghts. Its like if i watch the videos in standalone mode, in YT, they look so nice and dreamy. But the episodes as a whole does not connect or relate. There s lot of gaps. They are riding on SAKHI chemistry now. But once confession happens, TRP wl go down if they dont strengthen the story as a whole.

I am a fan of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Which woman isn't?

Anyway, the combination of Darcy and Elizabeth character wise usually is a hit.

Now, I have watched every single show based on this book and I have read the book. There is something that stands out in this book like many great books. Character evolution. Nobody changes drastically due to love or lack of. (unless you get hit by a bus or have head injury)

What I feel the most painful part of these soaps is they don't stick to the character or show the growth/evolution in a decent practical way.

Now, Shaurya acts like a fool sometimes, this is against his age, maturity and profession. That is odd based on how they introduced his character. This is kind of an abrupt change. Please don't say love makes people do funny things, he has deviated from his original character when he is talking to Kanchan or other students.

Anokhi is totally another story. She has forgotten all about her goal in running away from home.

And why the hell do people think all middle class girls will be fine working in the kitchen related jobs? There are so many other ways to make a living. When someone is a college topper and so smart, she could make more money by tutoring rather than in a canteen. Logic ka sathyanash kardiya.

I get it the canteen was on campus, and there is nothing wrong in this work but she could have worked anywhere she wanted. She could have worked in some showroom in evening as a salesgirl or someone who does accounts for small businesses or 101 different things. And it is a college story, people are outside the class more than inside. I will let this pass as it will be boring to show all these in soaps, but come on a bit of reality please.

If you ask me all the negative characters have kept to their character pretty good. And so are other supporting roles.

I needed a break from the complex coding I am doing so wrote this, nothing serious about this. I know one shouldn't think logically if one wants to enjoy these shows.😃

Pride and prejudice is my fav too❤️ (As you said who isn’t a fan? Plus reading books is my fav hobby.

Yeah shaurya is behaving weird but some people in this topic itself pointed out it might just be due to his confusion and he might return back to his normal self so for now I will keep it aside.

I don’t personally think ki anokhi has forgotten her dreams but I can totally see why it might be looking like it and sole reason is lack of monolgues and her pov and the monotonous behaviour of anokhi since her return to Chandigarh.

Like I am having to analyse her jabki her character demands transparency while shaurya as a character demands analysis. They have to handle portrayal of anokhi differently from shaurya and they have done that before it’s just that from last few weeks her character Is slowly loosing the depth bcs those depths of her thoughts are not being shown to us and this exactly is my complaint.

As far as the canteen thing goes I agree infact I was thinking a job in library also would have been better; like it isn’t wrong to work in canteen obv but I feel it just doesn’t suit her character.

Aur out of college, in college toh khair, it’s itv and one can only expect so much from itv.

If we go into the logic area then the first point would be how siac seems less of a college but more of sabherwaal extended family home/picnic spot.

Second, nikki itni talented hai she could have easily gotten an admission in govt university if it was real life (which obv holds much more value).

So aise toh bahut saare examples hai that I would end up writing 10 pages; isi liye I just brush them aside just like you said in order to enjoy the show 😂
