I enjoyed Raat Akeli Hai on Netflix. It was a refreshing change from the usual thriller, and had enough twists and turns to keep you on edge till the end. Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the police officer is unlike any protagonist I have seen before. He was shown as flawed right from the beginning, and not the usual stereotype of the know-it-all cop. An absolutely layered, honest performance and the love story with Radhika Apte is also interesting...Radhika is also good but could have been better.

The best part is, it was not the run-of-the-mill story. It was unpredictable, raw, and gripping. I cannot stress raw enough. This is absolute cinematic gold, how visceral the characterisation and plot are. Some elements will get lost in translation if I try to decode their essence.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable watch for anyone who likes thrillers which keep you guessing till the end and characters who are messy and unfinished and delightful in their unrefined crudeness.

Has anyone watched it?

I enjoyed the movie but I'm just a sucker for murder mysteries and I can't seem to get enough

Same here! My favourite thrillers from Bollywood are Kahaani and Badla. Badla was a work of art. I think it's better than the original.

Have you seen Knives Out? It's a Hollywood movie which released in 2019. Absolutely a masterpiece.

I loved those movies as well! Knives Out was great.

Another thriller I loved was Talaash (Aamir-Kareena one not Akshay-Kareena one😃)
