Not just father, but any responsible person would be concerned about a woman's welfare if she's out at night alone.

Amma ko toh yeh tak nahi pata ki vijay deshmukh is accusing his own "beti" of having an affair with Raghav.

She is under the misconception that the deshmukhs are worried about Pallavi because Raghav has forcefully taken her somewhere zabardasti.
