I think Kriti should know as Krishna knows it..

What the point of showing widow if raghav doesn’t know before marriage? He isn’t type of a guy who would care about it at all ..

may be they will bring mandar back and the widow would matter at that time ???

Widow truth is unlikely to come out before marriage. Whoever may know it, Raghav will not.

We all want to believe that Raghav will not care about her being a widow - but what is that belief based on?

They have not shown anything about his views regarding women. In fact, he plays a protective, conservative big brother who objects to his sister dating anyone.

How does anyone know what will be his reaction when he finds about Mandhar?

Very good point. We are making assumptions but we don't know for sure. In one of the earlier episodes he was taunting Pallavi saying women belong at home. I am curious to see if that was misogynistic or if he was being sarcastic.

I suspect he wouldn't care about the widowhood status itself. Rather, he would be upset about not knowing this in terms of feeling betrayed (even before he officially 'loves' Pallavi). Also, I wouldn't be surprised if she were to keep speaking of Mandar and his dreams for her, which would drive Raghav nuts. He can't compete with a dead man, and if Mandar does turn up alive one day, as is often the case with ITV, then it's another story altogether. Raghav is not predictable and could take this very badly - his possessive nature makes it seem likely that he wouldn't be 'normal' about it. Again, these are all assumptions, and to your point, it could go in any direction.

I expect Amma will be sympathetic, having been widowed herself, but then again, we don't know for sure. Keerti, too, should be ok as she knows Pallavi as a person and appears to be open-minded. We'll find out in a few weeks.

Agree 100%. As fans of the character we desperately want to believe it will not make a difference. But no one knows.

I posted a long long time ago that Raghav will feel cheated if he feels that he was kept in the dark on purpose. I can see it going in that direction.

If the truth was so inconsequential why do this "meri beti.." dance in front of the Rao family again and again? Vijay did this before with Raghav and now with Amma.

Maybe I missed out on some details, especially since I do not everything 100%. From what I have seen and understood so far, Raghav has no issues with women being in business. He has issues with the type of women he attracts. Or let me correct that, which his money and status attracts. Most likely based on previous own experiences. Either he got cheated on or women were willing to date him for the money whereas they had partners already, just to see if they could a financial upgrade and in lifestyle.

When he sees Pallavi unconscious on the street, he does give a pro woman, women are so strong speech. He does say Pallavi is strong in mentality but now she has become physically weak. We should help her. This is our duty.

He admires her spunk, her attitude. She will not be spooked by his initial dominance. He likes a challenge and she is ready to take him on. He respects that. He respects the game.

From that part I consider the character to be not against women being in business.

I think, what he does not like, and in which he is challenging her by saying certain things to her such as better stay home in the kitchen etc. Knowing this is a trigger for her. If you do business, then do business. You cannot run your company, being in heavy debts the way you are doing right now. In this situation you have to be 100% committed, have a game plan, a process, do research etc. Change something, otherwise the situation remains the same. He does business with other women as well. Think of that lady that came by who wanted to by that hideous all Indian saree.

When it would come down to women being widows or divorced and get remarried, I cannot see the problem for Raghav at the moment. He seems free spirited, unconventional enough to accept others as they are. He is one who understands what it is like to be not accepted.

I can imagine he would not be pleased with lies, disloyalty.

In the cage scene, where he sees only her eyes and says after long time he has seen honesty in someone's or some girl's eyes. I am so curious to his story as well. For both Raghav and Pallavi there are so many gaps still.

Not only Lion, but some girl really did a number on him it seems. Why would he lost faith and think women are gold diggers.

It can go either way, as you have mentioned. I hope he would not change too much. If only for the better, but he needs to keep his swag 😃

Amma vs Baba

I would choose Amma! She is savage as hell..!

And more man than Baba is currently!

I hope / hoped that Amma would support her son behind his back, saying I can believe everything you say about my son, but he would never ever mistreat women. If he did then... Etc. Etc.

Baba... I have no words man.. If Baba would be my baba, I would be madly disappointed. How he threatened to hurt himself if anyone would be looking for her.. The fact he will show her the door.. So... All these days or years of staying together, and now because of wrong company, and some guests gossiping Baba is willing to through her and all loving memories and efforts out? Speechless.. No words at all..!

Oh and about Raghav, he is indeed over protective. Over compensation. Not good. But it doesn't make him a bad person at this point (from my perspective)

Then again I am biased 😆

I guess the widow reveal will be a big deal. That's why they had that scene where Pallavi tried to convince BWA to get over her regressive mindset about widows and get an upgrade. That way, no mention or taunts about Pallavi would expose her widowhood during the festivities and in front of the Raos.
