First of all thank you so much for this super fast update. I was toh waiting for it.

Loved this almost clinical interaction between Samrat and Pakhi. Beautifully written. I like how you differentiated between Samrat the family man vs Samrat the soilder.

"Once she returned she would have a stern word with the tour company." - This was one of my fav lines from the story. You might think why it is such a normal one but I think this is most telling line about Pakhi's headspace.

Now I am interested to see now that Pakhi knows that samrat has read her messages will she choose to text him again or not.
