Pakhi Character Analysis 🧐

I am really intrigued to know how everyone feels about pakhi character after I watched a dream sequence in a segment.

Do you guys think we would dislike Pakhi character less if she was not the real life partner of Virat character?

Do you guys think subconsciously we think Pakhi character goes home with Virat in real life and not Sai and it upsets us?

I know we all say it’s reel vs real - we know the difference and give explanations. Today after watching the segment I felt probably if virpakhi (not sure of the ship name) was not real life couple we would have been less critical of Pakhi actress?

When I watched the segment all I was thinking was f* sake he is your brother in law get off him woman🤬🤪😢

And thought should create a poll in forum to discuss Since it’s a long weekend and people might be vetti like me 🤣🤣🤣

Because it is not well written. If she was a well-written vamp or grey character, we would have loved to hate her or sympathized with her or even liked her. Pakhi is too bland and serves no purpose other than as a symbolic third wheel in SaiRat marriage. The actress is also the weakest link in the cast - don't know if it is her own limitation or because her role has not been conveyed to her well.

Pakhi as a character has a lot of potential. Infact I feel she has much more important role to play with do many variations and shades as compared to sai and virat (who are typical ml and fl of itv with good morals).

I like Pakhi type characters who are not morally uptight.who make mistakes,who are badly flawed but I guess these are the character when it comes to their redemption surprises u the most.

But unfortunately this is itv,where they can't portray such characters with dignity.They have to show their sautan drama.Along with that aish need to improve on her expressions.

Pakhi is such a strong character but makers are only using her between sai and virat. She has no other business than to come between sai and virat.

I m waiting for samrat to come back.may be then Pakhi and samrat angle makers can show something else for pakhi.

Guys I m not a sairat fan.i like Pakhi as character based on initial episode. And I definitely do not want virat and Pakhi together no matter what.i just want to see the journey of Pakhi either with samrat or alone.

I agree to all the above. Today I felt after watching the segment there is a minuscule probability that I dislike her more because of her real relationship?

For me personally it bothered me and I just couldn’t watch it. It was cringe worthy lusting after ones devar.

In whole, the problem is, she is not a good person. And its not because she didn't end up with Virat. Even if she had, she would have been the same. That is the reason, Patralekha is not a good human.

I did too till I watched today’s segment. It kind of blurred the line for me. Probably I should just stick to watching the serial and not any segments.

Can't speak for others, but personally for me, it has nothing to do with off-screen. I don't follow her on any social media, never watched her interviews right from the start, I found out from the forum only that she actually tries to justify her behaviour. When their engagement news came, I was least bothered.

I have no issues with Aish as a person (other than when she behaves unprofessionally, or her acting)

My hatred is purely for Pakhi the character.

And that started before she even met Sai. Her morals are warped (to put it nicely) right from the time she said yes to marriage to Samrat, before she found out Virat was not at fault. Which is why I disliked her, which only increased as the story progressed.

Which is opposite of what attracted me to Sai and Virat both. Their morals. If I ignore this track, then initially we saw that Sai is straight forward, honest and courageous. For Virat, duty is everything. I myself value morals above everything else, hence like Sai and Virat, and hence dislike Pakhi.

Pakhi, even after marrying Samrat for all the wrong reasons, could have been redeemed. And even if I accept that she is a grey character and will stay that way, then also she is just too vicious for my liking.
