Who is the admin or mod of this forum?are they visiting this forum to check if fans are not breaking the rules of the forums e.g. to see if there are any multiple id’s etc??!!

I’m not complaining but just a thought as I feel there is no need to say sorry etc as we are expressing our opinions and it's up to mods/admin to decide. My opinion so no offence to anyone

What's going on ? Why is everyone saying sorry for no reason

So I said that Nihal looks like he goes to the set without taking shower and just sings a random song and it ticked off a few people. However that is the conclusion one can draw based off how the channel portrays him. He literally is portrayed like a slob. He might not be in real life but it's how the channels portrays him.

Nothing wrong in what you say about Nihal. Let’s face it every time Adi introduces Nihal, he tells the guests Nihal lazy, forgets, doesn’t have shower everyday etc. Whole nation hears that every week, so we discuss here.

I hope all singers perform their best with out confining to a specific genre.

I am tired of folks complaining about versatility etc.

Best singers are not versatile.

Personally I like high energy performances and those who rock the stage, are independent, confident, and bring variation to old songs. But others may like songs performed as original.

Every year we have folks who are compared to Shreya Ghoshal(I can literally count atleast a dozen in the last decade) and none of them resurface after a month. Lack of originality and confidence just pulls them down to stage shows.

I think we need singers who can break the mold of hindi movie songs and generate music albums on alterative platforms like youtube. I am sure Shreya will sing till her voice is shivering (Lata's few songs make me cry) leaving no room for these young folks who are trying to be her copycats.

I’m done with the show. I’ll just watch today’s episode for Nachiket. I’ve tweeted to Vishal, and I haven’t minced my words. Don’t know it if it matters but gives me some satisfaction.

About being the best in your genre, I won't argue about that. Many singers make it big by being the best in their style of singing, but on a reality show like this, I think you need to present variations (and good ones at that) in your singing style to keep the audience interested.

But that is of no use now. Nachiket was the most versatile of them all and he is gone. Danish too is in the bottom. To stay in a show like this you just have to pray that you are the judge's favorite. Even drama gimmicks don't work seeing that Danish (who along with his mama does the most TRP gimmicks) is in the bottom three.

Re: Nihal, yes you can think he shouldn’t have made it this far (though I like his tone I am shocked he lasted longer than Sireesha, Nachiket, and Anushka) but commenting about his hygiene is totally unnecessary. Clearly the whole hair thing is just a joke for content. He struggles because unlike the rest, Nihal and Sireesha have very little exposure to singing Hindi songs (both in a competitive setting and also for casual stage shows).
Should that be a reason for him to continue out of sympathy? Not at all, but blame the judges or the format instead of him. Personal insults are unnecessary, you don’t know him to say he doesn’t care.
