Secondly, singing with Vishal and SMP could have been a great challenge for Nachiket like when he sang with Ashish during the Govinda special. Only difference was that with Ashish, Nachiket sang half the parts while Ashish sang the rest. In yesterday’s performance, Vishal didn’t even give Nachiket anything to sing in the first two lines.

Refined artist, subtle in his expressions, honest to his craft and uncompromising.

This loss must have been huge to him but hoping that experience might have enriched him and prepared him for the challenges ahead, life is not easy it was never meant to be.

I enjoyed watching him and thanks sony for introducing such a fine artist.

This show is honestly starting to become a joke. I can't believe the Indian Idol I grew up watching has been reduced to this. Coming from someone who liked seasons 10 and 11 also, how could they reduce a bottom 5 to bottom 3? How can they purposely sideline contestants so that they can eliminate them? Nachiket went from being marketed as versatile and entertaining to a "nobody" singer.

2 of the Top 9 singers (SMP, Anjali) right now are contestants from 2017 srgmp which had Kakkar and Himesh as judges. Nihal literally wakes up without taking shower, goes to the set, sings a random song, and is a Top 9 singer??? Sawaii forgets the lyrics half the time he sings and is in the Top 9??? Ashish forgets the lyrics and does the same damn songs and is Top 9???

The second I saw that bottom 3 I knew the show was rigged. Danish and Nachiket were the 2nd best today outside of Pawandeep and Arunita and they were in the bottom! The only saving grace of this show is that Arunita was number 1 in votes. At least the public toh akal hai.

I fear they may give Sayli the "Nachiket, Sireesha" treatment next as she is a threat to their favorites SMP and Anjali.

Somehow you're both agreeing and disagreeing with me at the same time. I don't know what to say about that. Neither do I know how to respond to your "growling like a dog" insult. So I'll just ignore that. But all things aside, your praises for Nachiket are true to the tea. Very well said and eloquently expressed. I just have warm wishes and love for him, hoping that he maintains his craft and gets the recognition he deserves.

Especially it seems people have blind hate towards SMP. If she is as bad as you guys think there won't be millions of viewers on you tube for her videos. Same with other contestants as well. Agree..just support n make constructive criticism...blind hatred towards SMP is too much by some people here...SMP will grow leaps n bounds...she got votes almost top3 many times....

Why judges looked shocked? it was their decision right? ..why are they even called Judges?? They are like Archana puran singh in TKSS ..kursiya garam kar rahe hai baith kar.. this may be unrelated but i am watching the old episode of Masterchef India and i gotta see how the real judges are ...they compliment, criticize, teach and help contestants grow. There are challenges and real time tasks ...nothing like this in Indian Idol ... it is more like an orchestra to me.

After reading all the comments .....these are my thoughts . I accidentally came across this forum and noticed that the people here are so toxic and they spread negativity to such an extent that they even use foul language at times. They put down other contestants. Please dont forget that all the artists are really talented be it Nihal , SMP and rest all whom you hate . I really loved Nihal's both holi episode and 28th March episode as well , the way the channel is portraying him is really bad . So what if he once forgot lyrics ...even sawai and Asish forgot but why then Nihal is always targeted ?? . You guys say the judges are partial , even though let us assume it's true ....what are all you guys doing here ?????? . It's just that you all have gone to another level and you people humiliate Nihal , SMP, be it Asish, Sayli, pawan , Danish, sawai all don't deserve to be in Indian idol except a few according to you . Arunitha is too good I agree , I did like Nachiketh and he didn't deserve to go , but dont you think you guys are equally responsible as much as the judges ?? .I have seen everyone sympathizing when Nachiketh got eliminated, but they all were Arunitha fans . When you all love Nachiketh then why can't you vote for him also when you vote your other favourites??. Always putting down Nihal and Smp is not done . Why do you think Nihal should always be in bottom 3 or bottom 5 .Kindly watch all his performances and then comment .Please don't blindly hate someone and don't spread the hatred here.

We are all Indians. Let's encourage all our artists without distinguishing if they are from North, South. At the end of the day they are all Indians and future singers of our country . Let us all support our favourites without putting down others. All 9 are best and unique in their own way , stop comparing . Would we ever try to put down if our own sons/ daughters would have been among top 9 , we wouldn't do so right , then why so much hatred towards few contestants . No matter if one performance is not good another might be good and there is always scope for improvement , correction and perfection and I don't think so out of remaining 9 all are trained singers . Anybody can be in bottom 3 or top 3 based on their current performances. Kindly stop labelling the contestants as bottom contestants and top contstants.Never know the most criticised can be a great succesful singer and most appreciated may remain just a singer. May God bless us all and guide us so that we can appreciate someone we like without putting down and demeaning others.
