At Tripathi house preparations are on full swing for Holi , but no one is excited . They entire family misses Imli , her excitement , her enthusiasm. Her enjoyment at all festivals . Malini also jokes how Imli enjoyed herself . Aparna asks Malini to enjoy her first Holi after marriage . Malini says Aditya is not interested , Aparna says first Holi is always special, Malini says she will persuade Aditya to play Holi this time .
At Hostel the receptionist asks for Imli’s ID card, imli had none to show. Imli says she was Imli from Pagdandiya, meethi’s daughter. Tau ji returns home and informs he had seen Imli at Bus depo . Aparna asks why did she nit come home here ??

Prakash is leaving when he reminds Imli that she better nit meet Aditya again, Malini was Aditya’s first wife n legal one too. He feared her marriage to Aditya declared illegitimate. She would be shamed n insulted . If Tripathi found out she was Aditya’s wife they would throw her out , as such they considered her their maid servant , Imli argues against Prakashi’s claims . But he sternly warns her , not to meet Aditya again. He shows his concern for her being her childhood friend .
At Tripathi house Aditya misses Imli n wonders if she too was feeling same for him , life had become colourless without her .
Malini gets attached with her mangalsutra and wonders if she was getting too emotional over her MS and sindoor despite her education . She wanted Aditya to put red sindoor on her .
