Short Review 30th March 2021

I spent 20 minutes typing down the usual Character based reviews that I write while rewatching the epi and when I came to Devi, then BOOM! I accidentally closed the tab and all my work got deleted. See what a panoti she is!

But I didn't want to keep myself away from sharing my thoughts with everyone in the forum, so I am going to write a very short review here on what I liked and what I disliked.

What I liked:

-Shaurya scolding Kitty-Bebo. Though there is a pending conversation about the room allotment. I think it got lost in bermuda triangle.

-When Shaurya described his dream wife and at last he thought about Anokhi. Kanchan and Devi both picked it up. One was happy the other sad.

-Kitty-Bebo behaved like real sisters during the family scene where Shaurya describes his dream wife. I wish they weren't so negative. I like bro-sis scenes better than the so called jeth-bhabhi scenes.

-Devi packing the bag. Tej came in and related his beeji's habit with his wife's. He really got a mother-like wife that means. Both are even ready to accompany each other to Haridwar. Honestly speaking, if they weren't negative, I would ship this couple.

-Anokhi decorating her room with Reema. It reminded me of my first day in hostel post lockdown.

-The ending ShaKhi scene. Shaurya was being such a kiddo there. Anokhi was like: kya hain ye aadmi. Bechari has to live with him all her life.

-First part of precap scene. he was so happy seeing Anokhi caressing those flowers.

What I disliked:

-Kitty-Bebo and gang cornering Anokhi. I never knew they visited the library once in a while.

-Anokhi calling him PS in front of everyone. Like hello? Even the evil sisters call him sir.

-Kanchan's reactions seemed too OTT. I am not against this but doesn't Devi disallow Kanchan to tease Shaurya as Kitty and Bebo do? Initially, she had so many rules for DILs that aren't valid for daughters.

-Last part of precap. How are they planning to introduce Shagun? The Devi-Shagun scene that we saw yesterday or the one we saw today?

I know this was not as descriptive as I usually do. After the first draft got deleted, I had no mood to type this down. But I have a keeda in my brain so I created this short review. Please share your thoughts like you all usually do

I fully agree with you . Kanchan is really Overdoing. And Anokhi calling PS so many times looks so choreographed. Bas karo. sir is fine.

May be Devi will direct Shagun to jump in front of car as a first test to become Sabbharwal's bahu🤣

I too loved how Shaurya explained his ideal life partner. Slowly he has come to the realization that she is none other than Anokhi and that moistened his eyes. Then he was so disturbed that he somehow ended up in the college library in the middle of the night and called Anokhi, only too piss her off with his stupid blabberings. They were bickering like husband wife.😆

Both were blushing in the glow of first love (Shaurya never loved Shagun). Wished someone asked Alexa to play "Pehla nasha".

The Sabharwals was so liberal with their daughters. What was Bebo wearing?

I too liked Devi and Tej scene. The way he was pulling her leg.

So Shagun is here sooner than later. Now that she had fulfilled all of Shaurya's demands and is not going to pursue phD, she will demand that Shaurya rethinks his decision. However the ship has sailed quite far in a matter of days. ( I believe it has been only a month or so in SAAKK land).

The fest is here. I guess they are following the original tracks in order. So holi will come after fest I guess. But why is Shagun here so soon? I don't want her at all if she is anything like the one from Mohor. The real essence of the show will be forgotten and it will two women fighting over one man.

BOLD - aCTUally if they were not so manipulative but only traditional and strict i would actually like the couple too..

I think if the actress improves on dialogue delivery, she can do well. Expressions were more or less okay.

When Anokhi called him PS, I felt like I was the one who created blunder. Even Shaurya looked surprised.

Maybe. I have seen jumping in front of the car too many times in ITV to not even think about who did whay.

IKR. I watched the epi twice and this scene thrice. According to promo, Shaurya should realize soon, but they have a Ph.D. in fooling us, so can't really say. I wanted a phone conversation since a long time and I got the most awkward and funniest ever.

I think it has been 4 months considering Anokhi gave her prelims test recently. Still a lot less compared to 2 years that it was supposed to take for Shagun to do a Ph.D. Don't know what reason they will give. I forgot what they said or even if they did say in the OG version.

Sadly, she is negative. The actress playing her always plays vamps and is really good at it. The actress has a classy aura, so some of Shagun's classy nature might be the only thing retained.

Glad we agree on some of the points. The phone conversation might be realistic, but I am so used to see a calm and composed Anokhi that seeing her acting like Shaurya over the phone call with Shaurya made me laugh so hard. in-love Shaurya has always been the kind of guy who rapidly says his dialogues and tells exactly the opposite things of which he has in his mind. But Anokhi looked a little out of character there. We aren't clearly told that she is in love too. Even then, I won't expect her to react the same way Shaurya did. They are two different people with two different reactions.

Again the library scene had some editing issue for me. I liked the initial Shaurya entrance, but he turned real awkward when he was scolding them. I liked his scolding post-ragging/Valentines day dance cancellation scene. There he wasn't trying to impress, so it felt more genuine and cool.

Also why would they interact like that in front of students. The library needs a nook or a more private area. Khulam khula "flirting" this early...not my cup of tea. Even though awkward Shaurya in the scene was cute.

Anokhi needs to pick another nickname....PS does not roll off the tongue.

Also yay for culture fest. We might not get Holi, but we'll get some kind of celebration on campus.

This twitter thread broke it down nicely. KV's eyes are really emotive. So the smile going away as soon as he says Anokhi and then the eyes tearing up as he has those flashbacks were done soooo well!

It was cute to see the girls having a hangout, even if it was to find Shaurya a wife! Devi's on the trail now. Kanchan is not subtle.....'nirali' almost 'anokhi' 'alag'.....she is not made to be a love guru or a confidante.

Honestly, Devi/Tej are couple goals. So supportive of each other. So attuned to each other feelings and needs. Why so evil! They've also spliced so many of the precap scenes we got. Maybe they'll show the continuation of the Devi/Tej conversation where Shagun is actually mentioned.

-Anokhi decorating her room with Reema. It reminded me of my first day in hostel post lockdown.

I'm sooo glad they'll be in the same hostel. Reema is such a good friend and such a great cheerleader. She'll have to wipe some tears in the future though. She's really building up Shaurya for Anokhi, and when that crash happens, she'll have to help with the clean up.

-The ending ShaKhi scene. Shaurya was being such a kiddo there. Anokhi was like: kya hain ye aadmi. Bechari has to live with him all her life.

That whole phone call.......so them! Can't talk to each other without fighting. It's how they show concern and love. Their own love language.

-First part of precap scene. he was so happy seeing Anokhi caressing those flowers.

-Last part of precap. How are they planning to introduce Shagun? The Devi-Shagun scene that we saw yesterday or the one we saw today?

Flowers are not a good sign for them. First, Anokhi's favorite flowers are roses. Also, the last two times(that I can remember) flowers were seen in the show, they were thrown first at Anokhi's face and the second time the flower was put in the trash.

So maybe flowers are not the way to a girls heart. ACP is going to ruin this scene though.

But Shaurya seemed happy driving back home......and that Shagun intro looks sketchy. I think this scene will come later in the week. We've gotten a lot of spoiler scenes that aren't necessarily for the next episode.

Yeah, I am planning to write them on Google doc first and then post it here. That's what I do when writing fanfictions on another couple in watty. Don't know why I didn't think about it at first.

I thought so too. Many times when she says PS where she shouldn't I don't feel it was a subconscious act. I felt she did so on purpose. Now I don't know if it is editing, dialogue delivery or you are right to say that PS isn't a catchy name.

I was waiting for holi, especially after KV said so during #AskKV. Looks like they gonna do the fest instead. However, I am not so excited. Shagun's arrival so early in the show isn't going well with me. I don't like sautan drama. These two haven't had the time to freely express love for each other and enjoy moments of peace that now Shagun arrives ruining the story. If it follows OG, she is here to stay until 3 months post marriage. This is not what I want. They will remain under evil eyes for so long. .

I just saw this tweet and it's really cute. Sorry but I have blocked twitter in my chrome so I stay out of the negativity in that place. Our fandom isn't negative but the previous fandom I was a part of was. I wasn't even involved in the fights, but I don't have the courage to open twitter again.

I personally don't get the shipper vibe from her. She is great as a friend. But when she is shipping her teacher with someone else, it's a no-no. Anokhi and Shaurya have relations outside of college, but is it Reema's place to ship her teacher with a girl her age?

Are you sure? Sh*t. I want ACP to be a shipper and here he is breaking SS's heart. I am sure it is Shagun and Devi's plan. Maybe they will cook up a story. Else Shaurya won't feel sympathy for her
