Behind a smiling face

I remember that days when every family member of Shah House vent out their frustration through a different way. Remember Toshu, he vented out his frustration because of he was separated from Kinjal and he vented out his anger but in a rude way. Next Vanraj he vented out his frustration in an egoistic manner and also very angry. Anupama venting out the frustration in the laughter but in a very tired and emotional manner.

Whenever any member in the Shah house has vented out their frustration, the attention for the next few days was given to that particular member. Now after Anupama venting out the frustration, I hope people understand her value. I understand the absence of Samar, but the absence of Paritosh disappointed me. He should have been there.

Today Anupama reminded me of Charlie Champlin, a face that was is smiling always, which makes everyone laughs, but no one understood her pain. She telling Vanraj that she had done what Vanraj wanted her to do since 25 years, will not elaborate it. But her confrontation to Baa and Bapuji, I liked it more.

Saas Bahu, as always famous friendly enemies, but Anupama is not one of them, Leela believed Anupama her daughter after the EMA thing but before she was much strict on Anupama, Leela also needed to know what wrong she had done, why she had to stop Anupama from studying? And she was right, she will have a very sad break down after Anupama will leave. Why Bapuji didn't raise the voice earlier? Just as he got angry now he could have got angry earlier. Even Pakhi needed that lecture, she doesn't knows the value of her mother alone.

Today the most impressive character was Rakhi, she wanted to make the day by giving the drink to Kavya, but she felt bad when she came to know Anupama had the drink, I think she also understood her pain. That's why we like her.

VANRAJ, TOSHU, PAKHI SAB NE APNA DUKH BATA DIYA, BUT IT WAS NOW THEIR TURN TO LISTEN TO ANUPAMA'S SADNESS

I quite like Rakhi as a character ..she has empathy

Plus the cons she lists of the Shah fam are truewhich mother will.want to give their daughter to a house that treats women as doormat

Kinju is a lovely gal and toshu seems a MCP and very shallow .

Anupama is too mahan but waiting to see if she will break all ties and start a independent journey

Rakhi is purely concerned about her own daughter, but she has now understood that harming Anupamaa will do Kinjal no good as they already have a deep emotional attachment. Also she understands Kavya's motives and was having fun up until VanYa were out of Shah house, but now they are back there is a strong chance Kavya can dance on Kinjal's head as her new MIL which worries her further.

I just loved today's episode. It had everything we ever wanted Anupamaa to speak.

The venting out of frustration by Toshu, Vanraj and Anupamaa was according to their character. Toshu was always rude, only concerned for himself, vanraj is egoistic and his venting out was also in egoistic manner.

Anupamaa vented out like she is, always smiling through the pain, if she was not intoxicated, she would have never said all these, though I know, uska nasha utarte hi she is gonna apologise to Baa for whatever she said, but I am still fine atleast what was required to be conveyed to them is conveyed.

I can see Rakhi's attitude changing towards Anu and I am liking it. I want more AnuKhi scenes, wanna see their developing friendship.

I agree I also wanted Toshu there, he needs the reality check too, don't know why he was missing.

Baa and Vanraj has used every ounce of anupama. Stopped her education, treated her like maid, never accepted her as wife or daughter in law of shah family with whole heart.

Today's episode highlighted how much anupama wanted to study and how she also wants to speak in english like kinjal and rakhi, how she wants heights in her career like kavya.

I am clearly seeing today anupama said so many times how she wants to become today's women with english, higher education, good career etc.

I want anupama to fulfill all her heart wishes from speaking in english to touching heights in her career. Glad to see anupama has started earning on her own. I want someone to help anupama to complete her studies which she left because that maa-beta. I want someone to teach her english as per her wish.

She was frustrated with her only identity "thepla bananewali" which is because of selfish maa-beta who treated her like maid.

Anupama has all the rights to live like 21st centuary women who is not just thepla bananewali but can earn, can take education and speak in english.

Note, Theple banane walis have rights too and deserve respect.

Jaswantiben Jamnadas Popat, founder of Lijjat papad is not known for her English fluency, but her brand has worldwide reputation, promoted by very basic hand-puppets who became a brand as well, in their own way.

The fact wasn't that Anupamaa never studied, its that she wasn't allowed to do so when she really wanted to.

There are many housewives who are so because they didn't want to study much, and we should not blame them. Some even look at working women with contempt, like Leela.

Leela never liked Anupamaa just because she wanted to choose a bride for Vanraj, but otherwise she is her ideal bahu who is less educated and keeps mum when scolded, much unlike Rakhi or Kavya who speak against anything that displeases them, which is why she gave them judgemental nicknames of Naagin and Maide ki Katori. This was also why she didn't let her study.

I have also spoken enough about Vanraj, who just wanted Anupamaa for housework and Kavya for his carnal urges and never to marry her. No points for guessing why he didn't let her study.
