Jaavedaan
Vansh looked at the ring and the rose in his hand. Smiling, he looked at the window. Today the sky was very cloudy.. It seemed like it will rain hard. The dark, grey clouds covered the entire sky. A soft wind was blowing outside moving the trees back and forth slightly..Vansh inhaled deeply, but suddenly coughed. He sometimes had difficulty in breathing. Composing himself, he smiled
Today he will propose her. The love of his life. The day he saw her, his mind is always occupied by her pretty face and voice. The first thought is of her when he wakes up , and the last thought is of her before going to sleep..
"I love you, Riddhima.." Vansh whispered as the cold breeze hit his skin.

It was Aryan's engagement. Riddhima, being Ishani and Siya's best friend was invited too.
He descended down the stairs and saw her..There she was. Dressed in a beautiful white gown, looking like an angel..she was gossiping with Ishani about something.
Suddenly the lights went off. The chandelier was on, lighting the hall royally with dim orange light.
Aryan, with his fiancé, Ishani with Angre and others got on the dance floor. Holding each others shoulder and waist, they swayed to the music.
Riddhima stood there, watching everyone dance when suddenly Vansh came to her.
Vansh forwarded his hand. "May I?" His eyes glistened with happiness when she softly smiled and kept her palm on his. Gently folding his fingers around her hand, he took them on under the chandelier
He guided her left hand on his shoulder. Holding her by the waist, he interlocked their fingers. The music started playing

They slowly swayed their bodies. Riddhima was genuinely smiling but Vansh had some different emotion in his eyes...something that..cannot be read. He swirled Riddhima gently and they came back to their former position, swaying.
Dil tere bin, tehra sa hain
Tu dhadkano ka hai safar
Kaaton bhara har raasta
Phoolon ki hai tu reh-guzarrr
Riddhima tried to go away but Vansh held her hand and pulled her back as their chest collided
Jaavedaan hai ishq tujhse, Jaavedaan hai jaano dil ke darmiyaan hai, darmiyaan tu haan..
Flashback
"I love you, Riddhima.." Vansh whispered as the cold breeze hit his skin.
A knock was heard in the door. "Come in" Vansh ordered.

His eyes burned with tears as he looked at her. The light was directly coming on Riddhima's face, so it was hard for her to see his teary eyes
Jaavedaan hai ishq tujhse, Jaavedaan hai tujh mein hi dil ud raha hai, aasmaan tu haan..
Vansh picked her up holding her thighs and Riddhima wrapped her arms around his neck for support. The rose petals started falling on them and Riddhima, smiled craning her neck up, letting the petals fall on her face. Vansh looked up at her with painful eyes
Flashback
Sir, some reports came from City Hospital" the servant kept the envelope on the table and left, closing the door.
Vansh took the envelope in his hand. Ripping it off, he opened the report.

Riddhima looked down and their eyes met. Riddhima, mesmerized, looked around at the petals showering all over them as under the beautiful, royal chandelier, they danced elegantly. But Vansh could see only her.. Her beautiful doe shaped brown eyes, fair cheeks, pink lips, long, flowing hair....only her..
Coming back to reality, he realized that she can never be his.. Why?
Flashback
He opened the report-
"Lung carcinoma stage 4"

A lone tear fell down his eyes which went unnoticed by Riddhima as she was in his arms, busy gazing at the rose petals
He may not have time to live and make her his, but-
