Hey, I am not blaming Sai. We could see her smiling as soon as he said he was returning. I am talking about how Virat for a minute thought that Sai wasn't happy and then when she spoke about Dhamaka and all, he became alright. The post is to highlight how much he wants her to miss him 😂😂😍 and how he wants to see an excitement in her when he shared when he was returning.

I too felt sorry for both of them when he asked this question. They are so unsure of each other feelings that they keep looking for validation. 😒

Hopefully they come out strong after separation without any doubts in their minds about what is in their hearts 🤗

Virat is very sensitive and started to develop expectations from Sai unknowingly.

There have been a lot of things that he had expected from her, mainly her attention.

For instance recently, he opened the gift with a lot of excitement and got annoyed when it turned out to be a prank.

And yesterday, he again got a little disappointed when he didn't get any reaction from her when he said that he will be returning the next day. It is a shame that it wasn't a video call or he didn't share that news when she spoke from home. He would have been able to see how happy she was as soon as he shared the news with her.

Bandha bahut sensitive hai, how his face fell when he didn't get any reaction from her. He would have wanted to hear something nice or be able to hear her excitement. He was so sweet to have expected that from her.

She looked very happy as soon as he told that too.

Why is ,if anyone in that premises would have asked Virat what was he expecting? He would be dumb dumb.

Cuz,maybe I feel ,in all this chaos going on,whatever it maybe, Virat also doesn't realise that he is keeping expectations from Sai,I am not saying as a wife here. But,in general he has them , and I guess it is only from her,but I doubt he himself realises this, cuz I bet at this point still ,he would shrug this off as maybe concern ,that she needs to infrom him as she is his zimmedari,and he needs to be updated about his zimmedari. So,as you said yourself,and as Virat said, Virat wants Sai to consider him something ,anything,a husband,family ,friend ,anything other than a deal at this point. And he is ready to take this attention in any form. A phone call,sharing a info,a gift or in any form. So he was here also expected what a normal preson expects,excitement in any form .

But,regarding Pakhi(sorry to drag her here), he has none. Maybe thinkung of your this angle,see maybe he sympathises with Pakhi, so since she cannot handle Devar word currently, he stresses her to consider her friend, not keep much expectations from him.

And yes,I agree ,even in the future I will,that Virat and his emotions,this is a deadly combination. He is happy if she is happy,he enjoys being with her,he loves it when she brings gift for him,loves it when she cries in his yaad,but just stops there.He is not free about his emtions is one part ,and he ,most of the times ,does not realise his emotions. He blames either Sai,or expresses a opposite way in what he feels. As in if he is pained or jealous, as in the lunch drama or Amey drama, he chose anger to express it ,and it gives wrong message to Sai that he is not expecting anything from her, but is rather dissappointed as she came between the best friends. But ,isnt it all a sign that he was keeping expectations here.

And ,with Sai,he doesn't have a way to escape with his emotions and with recent events maybe he wants to experience all this. But what is lacking here is clarity , toh we need separation,that clarity is necessary for both of them here.

In short,lets say his biggest expectation from Sai currently is he wants Sai to stay connected to him, in an emotional form.

I also felt he was disappointed that she was not jumpimg with joy hearing the news of his return. (Neil conveyed it very well indeed). But he will not react badly to it. He seems to be becoming better at controlling his emotions, at introspection and reading Sai's emotions. Like, when Sai rejected his offer of friendship on the morning after Shivratri, I was expecting him to go into hangry mode. But surprisingly, he became open enough to express that he did not want Sai to go to GC. And amazingly, he also defended Sai's right to stay in the room when Pakhi wanted to speak to him alone. He specifically said that he did not want Sai to feel left out and alone - a callback to their fight after cancellation of Ladakh trip when she said that she is alone in the world. So Virat seems to be slowly learning to handle his emotions and process their relationship in a more healthy way.

But what bearing this will have when the strength of their relationship is put to the test? it is possible that it will remain as one among many pools of doubt somewhere in his mind - which will not rest until they attain security in their relationship.
