URI released 2 weeks before Kanganas film and that was an award show from a different year but Manikarna is a more recent year ? 🤣 Fraud of the year

Who should have won it? I don't think anyone in Bollywood deserved for best actress... I don't know about regional cinema. Is there any actress that was robbed? Otherwise e Kangu is like andhon mei kana raja in Bwood and she was actually good in Panga. Hopefully she will shut up now🙄

No, Chichore came out during the regular deadline - it was released Sept 2019. It didn't usurp Uri.

Still... Chichore? I know Gully Boy had the Filmfare/Oscars backlash but there's Article 15 etc.

Umm while I agree Chhichhore wasn't that great but it still was a pretty good movie with a good message and that pretty much works for National Awards.. I was expecting Sonchiriya because it was actually pretty great and probably one of the best Bollywood films of 2019 but well jo dikhta hai wo bikta hai.
