Someone thinks that we eat Indians daily eat samosas, tonnes of butter based food and so on.
Me eating plain rice, lentils and lightly oiled chinese cabbage leaves curry, in shock 😆
After we lost a family member, the elders in my family were quite upset so we celebrated my uncle's birthday a week later to cheer them all up. Stop judging how others get over their grief. There was one thing my father told me that always stuck with me, "Do what you can for people when they're around you and alive. Once they're gone, celebrate their life, you're allowed to be upset but also allowed to be at peace if you know you did your best for them when they were around."

Lol. It's as if people think that Indians eat shahi paneer, fish korma, mutton biryani, chicken tandoori for lunch and dinner everyday.

The rice of today is also very unhealthy. Heavily refined/cultivated, polluted with arsenic and mold toxins, devoid of nutrition. It is nothing but sugar by another name which raises your blood sugar and leads to insulin resistance/diabetes. Oils are a major problem in India but bigger I think is the unhealthy ratio of rice/grain to vegetables.

Did you read the article HearMeRoar posted? It specifically addresses what Indians REALLY eat.
