yo like for example, i don't think i've seen a show where after saving the girls from goons, they actually addressed the fact that girls literally cannot go out at night and have to change their behavior! that's something that is still contested today and some men don't see as privilege so the fact that we are seeing it on ITV is so unique!!

She true anokhi has her balance she know where to said what...she has enough respect for her elder and love ones at the same time she take stands.

i liked that they had him as a masked misogynist in the promos because that speaks to a lot of problems of the day where biases and prejudice aren't overt but still exists! i also was like lol another MCP what's new here that's all shows even if they don't make it the focus of the promos 🤣

@bold that was my feeling too and because I used to watch ghum, insta has this habit of pushing all other random show videos in the suggestions section and one day I ended up with Shaakhi it was library rescue scene and I was blown with how well it was done! There was no romanticising of the situation with the bg or some kind of romantic awakening in the two of them it was simply a professor rescuing a student and the BG also focused only on Anokhi's state of mind and the performance was brilliant too. I was like mind =blown🤣

hahaha yeah i have no idea what's going on there i'll probably skip through scenes later this weekend to catch up but not watching closely anymor e😆

exactly!! i'm hoping that after this track, we see anokhi stand back up, dust herself off, and go back to being that kapurthala anokhi!! like she was so excited and open about everything when she first arrived. she's lost that innocence somewhere and i'm so sad for her because this school is slowly crushing her spirit so i hope she gets it back!
