His words would have still been horrible but he wouldn't have been compelled to act because in his head there wouldn't have been an external pressure/force that pushed him into a corner. Exactly his restlessness at the moment is all because she is leaving and he doesn't want that! If she wasn't and he would have continued to speak in the same vein because he said it right "tho kya galat kaha maine". So like someone mentioned he needs to hear back the same words from Anokhi's mouth and come to terms with the filth he spewed!
