It was a slow progression from 1920s onwards driven by the power-thirsty individuals and their arrogance to not share rights on territories. There were also other movements going around the world whose news reached India when our soldiers were fighting WW II and that is where the rift began which has yet not filled coz we refuse to acknowledge that ALL our ancestors were misguided and made some pretty intense decisions.

Britain had incurred huge losses in WWII. They couldn't afford ruling over India at that point. So they decided to leave the colony. But till that time Hindustan's own govt was taking shape. Leaders had different ideologies but the same motive -- freedom from colonization. Britisher's divide and rule policy had started showing it's effects by then. Muslim population was diffused over the entire subcontinent. They initially wanted separate constitutions and sort of presidencies in the central region, Eastern and today's Pakistan region. But it was impossible to do this, given the vastness of our country. So only one demand was accepted, Partition of Punjab. Lahore was surrounded by Hindu villages and Amritsar by Muslim villages. Everything went wrong there. And nobody from both sides gained what they wanted. Instead everything was lost.

Woh toh pehle se thi unki thodi negligience hai na, when those shopkeepers that he mentioned said they are ready to take his shop once he leaves mulk, he should have paid heed to what was happening, taken the family and fled before August 1947. They could have celebrated aaram se from non-contested areas, but unko unka ghar pyaara tha.

Today's episode was a phuska bomb compared to yesterday's episode.

Repetative scene of amrit and farooq

I am just done seeing amrit everywhere. Like plz give me a break.

Zaan almost kicked pagdi in that scene..it was funny not at all emotional.

Radha and family scene was good..relatable at realistic cosidering that time. However rushed.

Uday got to knw about his baby finallly. That eye contact was the only good thing bt again they ended it there. How dare they🤬

Abhi to bass gali hi nikal rahi hai. Thanks to their obsession with some people.

Now amrit nikah with farooq. Are they just jealous of vashmay? Seems like. All there tracka they want. There no logic in the way story is going.

Seems like all are in lahor only to save amru........
