I dont know about other state but in my state wearing mangal sutra is not compulsory for married hindu women

In our side hindu married women offer sindoor, bichiya kaanch ki chudi laal bindi aalta to maa durga but none hindu marry women offer mangal sutra to maa durga as it is not consder as suhaag ki nishani in my side

In every state wearing mangalsutra everyday is not compulsory 🤣🤣🤣

Anupama is gujarati so I am 😀 I know humare yaha gujarati shadi mai mangalsutra jab pati pehnata hai tab kitne pavitra mantra padhe jate hai for love of husband and happy marriage.

They are disrespecting those mantra.

Anupama being gujarati wearing mangalsutra during/after divorce is looking dumb and unrealistic because gujrati people never wear mangalsutra for cheater husband and that too after divorce.

My mother never wear mangal sutra inspite of getting married nor my maasi nor my maami chachi tai never wear mangal sutra inspite of getting married

Hamaare yahan koi hindu married women sindoor na lagaye bichiya na pehne kaanch ki chudi na pehne to us tokte hain ki tumhara sindoor kahan hai bichiya kahan hai ?

But mangal sutra ke liye koi nahin tokta ki tumne mangal sutra kyon nahin pehna shaadi ke baad?

Anupama is Gujarati so definitely gujarati people will question her actions because she is disrespecting the mantra of wedding when husband ties it on ne k during gujarati wedding. If makers wants to show anupama gujarati then they should respect the value of mangalsutra at first place . It is very unpleasant to see her wearing mangalsutra the symbolic chain of happy marriage for cheater husband after signing divorce papers. In our gujarati culture this is not acceptable.

Either change anupama’s cast from gujarati to something else or give all the due respect to mangalsutra and wedding mantras.

Yaha baat divorcee and widow ki ho rahi hai and anupama falls in divorcee category. Divorcee woman ke liye compulsory magalsutra NAI pehen sakte aisa he hindu shashtra mai rule hai.

Mangalsutra has different rules for married and unmarried/divorcee/widow in hindu.

I always thought the scriptures don't forbid divorce, but they just never mentioned it, and that is why some very old-fashioned Hindus were totally against it...
