I am also hindu . In my religion mangalsutra is symbol of love of husband , happy marriage life and HUSBAND.

It is definitely not any fashion jewellery jo Aj kal log usko bana rahe hai. It is definitely belongs to husband and happy marriage.

I have seen widow women wearing mangalsutra in the memory of their beloved husband and their happy marriage but I have never seen divorcee woman due to betrayal of husband wear it even out of fashion , husband and happy marriage to durr ki baat hai.

Divorcee women because of husband’s betrayal also wears magalsutra is insult of the purpose of mangalsutra and in real life this the first divorcee woman I am seeing who is wearing mangalsutra may be because of fashion because no other symbolic factor is left.

I am also hindu and none of my relative who are married bwear mangal sutra as it not consider suhaag ki nishani ,only sindoor is consider as suhaag ki nishani which anupama is not applying on hair line

I have never seen widows wear mangalsutra, but I can fully understand if they want to carry on wearing it for sentimental reasons, i.e. because they still love their departed husband and have no interest in marrying again... that is sweet and touching.

But Anupama carrying on wearing this big long mangalsutra after her husband cheated on her, insulted her and left the house to be with his mistress is pretty pathetic... and it's all the more absurd considering Anu herself was the one to go and file for divorce... I wouldn't be surprised if she carried on wearing the necklace even after VanYa get married

And sorry but that is such a dumb attitude to have... I could neither forgive nor forget if someone did what Kavya did to Samar to any of my family members 😡 (because I actually care about my family)... but if Anu is such an ocean of kindness that she can forgive that, the at least she shouldn't forget... That is so beyond stupid and brain-dead of Anu to let Kavya back in the house after that incident, and not to forget her fight with Pankhi that lead to her running away...

Anupama is being a very poor parent at the moment... she is not only teaching her young impressionable daughter to become a doormat who will agree to live with her sautan, but also trying to force them to forgive and love Kavya after all this 🤢

And of course Anu is only doing all this to go and sulk if the kids actually manage to get along with Kavya... because the woman really has no idea what she wants

Looks like either the CVs have a very absurd idea of selflessness or they are very poor as a team and aren't able to maintain even a decent amount of consistency as the show progresses...

Mangal sutra hamare yaha shaddi mai phero ke samay pati apne hatho se patni ki pehnata hai so daily mai office jati hu tab mangalsutra pehnu yah na pehnu doesn’t matter but definitely it belongs to my happy marriage and love of my husband .

Everyday mangalsutra pehno ya na pehno, phere ke time par jis mantra ke sath pati ne woh pehnaya hai uska symbolic meaning kabhi bhi change nai sakta.

It is. That is why no un-married woman ever wears one. And traditionally even widows were not allowed to wear it, though I guess some continue to wear it for sentimental reasons nowadays...

And actually mangalsutra is even considered more important than sindoor for a married woman among Marathis and all South Indians as well...

Yes I've noticed Anu doesn't wear sindoor anymore but wearing the mangalsutra is equally pointless/strange imo.

Very true no un-married woman ever wears it . Traditionally even widows were not allowed. For the first time I saw my distant relative wearing it in the memory of her beloved husband.

In my community also mangalsutra is even more important than sindoor but question is which divorcee woman wants to wear it in the memory of cheater husband who throw her like tissue paper and bring new wife for him🤢
