Shivangi's acting is getting more atrocious everyday

Can Shivangi PLEASE work on her acting!

Be it Sirat or Naira, she gives the exact same expression & sheds the same amount of tears when Kairav rejects her hug. She has that exact same disappointed/offended expression in fights. She lovingly looks at Kartik the exact same way.

The only change that she has made is that horrible accent & increasing her volume x100. Her yelling is so bad that I literally can't watch current episodes with earphones 😂

Is she even capable of any nuance? I know the writing is bad but it's the same for Kartik. But Mohsin delivers that variation. I wonder what he could have delivered if he had the chance to do a double role.

Unfortunately, if you watch her interviews, she’s pretty confident with herself and thinks she’s doing a great job. Apparently she’s been receiving a lot of appreciation from everyone 🙄.

I don’t understand how actors can be so deluded sometimes. Don’t they watch the show or at least their own performances to work on themselves?
Mohsin has mentioned in his interviews that he goes back to all his scenes and takes notes of how he could have performed it better, etc. Shivangi, on the other hand, comes across as someone who thinks she’s super talented and can never go wrong.

Unfortunately, that attitude reflects in their performances, Mohsin has clearly grown in his craft with time and Shivangi has stunted her growth as an actress. She’s still stuck in that Naira zone from 3/4 years ago & is getting worse with time. The screeching and her expressions are just unbearable now.

How I wish Kartik would have died instead of Naira. We would have gotten a different storyline rather than a cheap copy of 2019 & it would have been something different & new for Kartik/ Mohsin. Having Naira die for the 2nd time is just another wasted opportunity.

over the time mohsin khan improves his skill.Earlier he was a bad dancer and bad in emotional role.But now he danced with ladies gracefully.

But in this track his acting below the average.

And yes Shivi acted same and her volume is now increased which is annoying.But I like her some cute expression.I like to see her boxing but when he starts changing over boxing that's irritating.

And both of them down to earth.I like this fact.

You’re braver than me. I have stopped watching the show and earlier used to watch clips here and there. Now when I see clips of Sirat (and/or her family) I put the clip on mute and scroll through. I just cant tolerate her screeches anymore.

I wasnt well sometime back and was scrolling through the clips and a scene of hers with her family (shouting as usual) actually made me physically sick . Okay that was probably coz i wasnt well 😆 but it could’ve exacerbated my condition 😭

have always maintained Mohsin is a much better actor despite of playing a crappy character like Kartik. He actually has shown growth unlike Shivi who has stagnated and for some reason refuses to enhance her skills. In fact has deteriorated only.

This explains a lot. If an actor is not critical of their craft, they’ll never work to improve it. Mohsin has grown so much since his intro, infact i saw him in a show called Nisha and cousins, and he has come a long way despite of playing a sometimes horrible character like Kartik.

Shivangi has just deteriorated. No growth, no nuance, just ott expressions and screeches. Even her comedy is just baby voice (when she was Naira). And for Sirat i have no words. She is that bad.

Shivangi can act but i think at this point after years of playing the same role she kind of lost herself a bit

like looking back at how well she played poonam she was really good at that meek demure role until she got brave etc the way her character grew was interesting to watch

also saw her bully helly shah in her first show ankh mein choli or somemthing

My issue with naira- started with the death faking

i hated her

and now i hate sirat shes incredibly annoying

i feel like she needs something completely different

and something she can actually do

probably yrkkh directors giving her praise 🤣they dont care the trps rose thats all they care about

as for her boxing blaah i wouldnt put so much effort into it seeing how badly shot her boxing scenes are

sirats bGMs are AWFUL

unlike kartik's attitude tunes hers just annoy me

her expressions are annoying the hair style doesnt suit her

and her styles awful

as for momo making cute faces and being a majnu he does have things you can call him out for doing repetitively in the show like wear the same white sandles threw so many leaps +_+ honestly watched him in that bombing temple episode years ago wearing it and he still does and it annoys me

but he doesnt do it continuously the way sirat does

But what I feel the people who are responsible are writers.... How much actors say that they are not connected to their characters they play or characters role doesn't affect them...but this is not true.... Once you are attached to a character, identify yourself with that character..sudden story change are going to affect you...they suddenly planned naira's death track.... shivangi n Mohsin both are very attached to their character as well as kaira's love story....they used to say in IV that kaira love story is their favourite love story ... N suddenly writers decided to bring sirat n they both know that kartik n sirat are going to be paired... Then offcourse this going to affect both of them n their acting..... See how Mohsin is acting these days.... Now on top of that they gave shivangi a whole new young sports related character with new accent to prepare....some one need some mental peace and preparation to come out of a certain zone n they need time and that connection to play another role...I still feel shivangi as sirat is doing better as compared to her acting in initial episode as sirat..... But see Mohsin , it is visible that he is not at all interested n not able to connect to this kartik..... His only scenes which are watchable is with kairav because kartik ideally should be with their children.... N Mohsin plays this very well because of connection...

Sorry but When was she subtle 😂😂 even then ppl used to say her tht she does overacting specially starting ones nd bombay leap was just a good track nd she wasn't able to bring tht subtlety or nuance which was needed, because u see how inconsistent it was. She just used to cry nd cry in that as well, she cudnt bring those layers, they made her mahan after that. Infact she became worse during the Mumbai track and after that it just went down. Though what she did with tina was still ok because that character was bubbly nd chirpy nd going a bit ott was ok, nd she had rawness at tht time which she has lost now.

I think Mohsin comes across as a better actor even in the scenes in which he seems lost and disinterested because under performing is still better than the ott acting, which just makes the scenes unbearable but I agree with the bolded part. He did seem very out of it in the scenes when Kairav was in the hospital.

Kartik and Sirat don't have chemistry whatsoever. Their scenes are just flat and boring. I don't know if its to do with the actors or the writing itself but Kartik does seem or at least used to be come across as bored and disinterested in Sirat. I guess it makes sense from the character POV's as well. Why would Kartik have chemistry or feel comfortable in the presence of a total stranger?

If anything, I will applaud Mohsin for bringing out this subtlety in Kartik's character where there's a very apparent difference in his body language and tone when he even thinks or speaks of Naira and his kids, as compared to when he's interacting with Sirat.

This is why I don't understand how they will sell the two characters together. Kartik and Naira had freshness and spark from the get go but Kartik and Sirat just don't click. Not even Mohsin and Shivange are able to make that sail ship for me.

As for the rest, I did give Shivangi the benefit of the doubt in the first few weeks, however, its been over two months now and that's ample time for actors to get into the skin of the characters. I would have understood if she was seen making a conscious effort to better her performances but honestly, she's just getting worse as Sirat. She got some dishonest feedback after the first episode and she's stuck with that rather than actually working on herself.
