This explains a lot. If an actor is not critical of their craft, they’ll never work to improve it. Mohsin has grown so much since his intro, infact i saw him in a show called Nisha and cousins, and he has come a long way despite of playing a sometimes horrible character like Kartik.

Shivangi has just deteriorated. No growth, no nuance, just ott expressions and screeches. Even her comedy is just baby voice (when she was Naira). And for Sirat i have no words. She is that bad.

In an RS interview while talking about YRKKH and YRHPK, he told that Mohsin and rhea are both very hardworking actors who work on their scenes before coming to sets . On the other hand, Shivangi and Shaheer are very spontaneous. The same development was noted in Mohsin and Rhea’s acting (in PTSD track of YRHPK and emotional scenes of YRKKH). They have developed a lot from their previous shows. Shaheer is a very experienced actors so he has that spontaneity but Shivangi is stuck at where she was and being the blue eyed girl of RS she never receives any critical appreciation. Hope she brings some variation in her acting. Mohsin is worth watching in good scenes.

Wow. I'm impressed but not surprised. With how much they've grown, their efforts aren't going to waste. Even with the same shat writing, they breathe life into their characters.

Haha ok Shaheer was Arjun in the massively hit Mahabharat. The cast of that show spent months in workshops before they started shooting & used to do a lot of prep for every sequence. Shaheer is spontaneous *now* in lightweight shows like YRHPK because he has already done the heavy lifting.

Shivangi is an excellent actor only for Rajan Shahi (till TRPs are high) & Naira fans (who think Sirat is Naira). Acting is a skill that needs practice. SRK, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor regularly do acting practice even today. With Shivangi's laziness, at best she'll either be a perpetual TV bahu like Divyanka or stuck doing cheesy content like Nia Sharma/Hina Khan. At worst, this show is her peak. While Mohsin has the chances to spread his wings wider like Jennifer Winget or Barun Sobti.

Also it could be that the character of Abir in YRHPK was that of free/independent/ spontaneous person - that’s why Shaheer probably emulated that in his acting for YRHPK.

Coz i have seen most of his performances and he owns it. I am quite impressed by how he becomes the character.

Shivangi’s Naira/and esp Sirat are not those kind of characters so she really needs to work hard or bring something - some freshness in her acting. Instead of hyping up the boxing practice (which ended in like 2eps) focus should’ve been more on learning the correct way of speaking etc.

shaheer moulds himself as per the character he plays - he’s in a different league altogether- and yes I am a bit biased in his favor 😆

Mohsin’s Kartik is not a likable character but yet his acting touches my heart (sometimes), his comic timing is also good and is romantic avatar is quite popular with the fans - that’s pretty evident.

Shivangi’s been disappointing now. RS probably credits her with the rise in TRPs so she doesnt feel the need to improve coz she might feel this is her best.
As Naira she has been going down in her acting but as Sirat she is just disappointing.

YRHPK was still watchable in spite of the crap they showed in the last month, because of Shaheer as well as Rhea. Both outstood each other . But I left watching YRKKH altogether after that “mahaan Naira’s” pregnancy track. But now as from seeing clips and reading posts it lookslike the show has turned into “kahani naira ki”👎🏼.

Me too. But after YRHPK ,I started liking Rhea. There was a huge difference between her acting on the first day and last few months. It looked like she practised her expressions and had worked on her skills in lockdown. I somewhat like Mohsin too in Kartik kairav scenes. But I just skip rest of scenes.

Shaheer's spontainity comes with experience. Also when prep is needed u have to work nd I guess shaheer does that as per whatever interviews I've heard. Abt rhea I dont, she is good in subtle scenes, needs to work on emotional scenes. For mohsin his prep depends on the scene, track he is spontaneous in comic scenes while in emotional scenes or intense scenes prep is needed, also that is particular for a scene. And for shivangi the spontainity works when she is good at it but here it doesn't work for her, she shud know tht it doesn't work for her, most of the time she goes wrong, kabhi kabhi achha ho jayega, but u need to understand the story, the emotion to be spontaneous, they shud know what the scene wants to convey, which he lacks.

You’re braver than me. I have stopped watching the show and earlier used to watch clips here and there. Now when I see clips of Sirat (and/or her family) I put the clip on mute and scroll through. I just cant tolerate her screeches anymore.

I wasnt well sometime back and was scrolling through the clips and a scene of hers with her family (shouting as usual) actually made me physically sick . Okay that was probably coz i wasnt well 😆 but it could’ve exacerbated my condition 😭
