Gauri Nigudkar has a new fan, Smriti Irani
Her previous show 'Betiyaan Apni Yaan.…' on Star Plus did not create the expected fire, but Gauri got luck with Smriti Irani's home production 'Mere Apne'.
Gauri plays the character of Smriti and Vinod Khanna's daughter Vrinda Pandey; her role was a significant one, but after witnessing her powerhouse performance Smriti has made her role a lot more exciting.
According to Smriti, Gauri simply keeps getting better by the day and she deserves all the limelight in the show. Now, rarely do we hear a Producer praise their actors, but Smriti always considers herself as an actress first and then, a Producer.
Besides, she is quite close to her cast and is always know to encourage them.
Now this is what we call, "Mere Apne."
