That was hard-hitting ke adi ko kuch andaza nahi hai ke he can't survive without imlie jaise hi jaati hai he ends up following her everywhere like her shadow.. matlab exam hall tak chala gaya marte marte caz ghar aaram na kar paaya 😆 that is how strong his need is for her.. but he wouldn't accept it.. the dhoka dhoka dhoka is important caz indeed after realizing not taking an action will be a dhoka so now he will try to probably take some faisla or decide to come to terms instead of living in denial and staleness

Yeah, more than the patthar/baarish line, I enjoyed the line when his alter ego told him ki tum Imlie ke bina JEENA nahin jaante😆......waise all this sounds like much more than pasand....lol but I guess they can't say pyar just yet toh pasand bulva liya aaj. 😆

Funny thing though....didn't he himself half admit to her a while back after that mimicry scene that he doesn't NOT pasand her anymore? 😆.....phir bhi itna jhatka on hearing PASAND from his alter ego? 😆

The dhoka dhoka rants showed his desperation to deny this stark truth....but I don't think he will be able to escape it much longer....next phase is deffo going to be him wanting to tell Malini about this but either he won't be able to tell her or IMLIE will step in somehow to fix them up again, totally oblivious that Babusahib is now actively pining for HER🤣.

Waise I'm intrigued to see that side explored too....what will Adi think about Imlie's feelings as he battles his own? He still seems to struggle with whether or not she wants to be rid of him😆....ya pata nahin shaayad woh bhi aevein hi bolta ho....iska kya pata what he believes to be true and what he doesn't😆....sab jhol hai.

I just finished rewatching the alter ego scene.....few other things that stood out to me:

I took it as the first crack in the Aditya - Malini relationship. On one side we have Aditya, who has never considered the possibility of anything other than Moon in his life and heart, is seeing a different picture for the first time. It was terrifying for him because it meant that everything he thought was the truth is actually not. This was blow to his foundation. Hence his first reaction was denial, a strong denial and an assertion that Moon is the only one for him and no one else.

On the other side, we have Malini who with every passing minute is letting the shak enter into her bedaag relationship. She is burning and that is not going to be any help to an Aditya who is going to come looking for a Moon who he thought he fell in love with. He is going to compare and because she is going to doubt and show all her insecurities in the coming days , he will be forced to see the actual reality.

I think he will not accept any of the points brought about by his alter ego till he goes through the comparison phase and then with every passing day with this playing in replay, along with the reminder of the freedom he had with Imlie, it’s going to crack this wall of certainty that he has around his heart about Moon being the only one.

Denial is the new best friend of Mr Aditya and again Imlie is going to be so hurt because we just might see an overcompensating Aditya because of his alter ego interaction. I say this because he was not guilty nor was there regret when he told Imlie that he lied but after this interaction, with just this small hint that Imlie might be taking over Malini’s place and after hearing about how much Malini was hurt because of him coming to PD for Imlie, methinks he is going to go way over board now with Malini.

PS: I need to rewatch it but this was my first impression and so I might be completely off too 😛

Pam, I think their intent with that scene was to show that Adi's contradictory state of mind is coming out through impulsive actions like this.....just a minute before he was again claiming she wants to get rid of him and then when she came closer, he held her hand like this. They probably didn't show him introspect with his usual, "Yeh hum kya kar rahe hain" probably cuz they wanted to set up the later alter-ego realization scene and felt they needed to show one direct scene of Adi's "attraction" towards Imlie before that😆.....before this epi, they always showed it indirectly.....but this was his most direct action yet in showing his yearning towards Imlie. Everything else has always been deflected or covered up with an excuse....this time no excuse was given for why he grabbed her hand.

Yes, storywise, this is a culmination of a lot of things he's repressed for a long time....as we've often discussed....he only swings in extremes....ya toh kuch bhi acknowledge nahin karega for Imlie or suddenly the intensity reaches I will miss you via sindoor level😆.

By the end scene, he did come back to his usual, "Hum sirf Moon ke hain" jaap....so all felt right with the world again....I never thought I'd feel comforted seeing Adi with his usual Moon jaap and yeh sab jhoot hai and PD mein aake sab galat kyun ho jaata hai rants😆....but aaj wohi normal lagaa mujhe.....haha.

Same to same no return 🤣 it felt like the adi I know not the other version it felt more normal ke he will deny before acknowledging

Sab ke dekhne ka nazariya alag hai. Dance for sure was weird. It was out of character for even the alter ego to dance with imlie. On the other hand the sindoor scene to me signified it would remind him of her when he is not around. His feelings came out as a result of this and hence the physical intimacy.

I thought the sindoor from that hand grabbing scene was blood at first and I was trying to understand if the snake venom or his confused, erratically beating heart was causing this brand new injury 😮

I don't mind a few lollipops and this one at least makes sense. It's PD not Delhi, it's in a private moment not surrounded by people, almost died again. Had all those not been the case, the hand grab would have been absolutely out of place. Instead it just felt like a continuation of something the show has shown this whole time. PD is almost a dream world for Aditya. He's more open here when he lets himself be, and this trip around he's literally letting himself run free or as much as he can handle. He might also have felt a little relieved that "challo she took her exam and did well". Cuz of course all he'd cared about was her padhai...

Facing his alter ego after facing death and not once but twice in the span of a week (seriously though this show has more near-death experiences than any other. Hasn't it been like 3 months since the two met?). People usually do some reflecting after that.

I'm a little annoyed by the editing of certain scenes, but I was ok with this one. The cuts to the office kind of broke the moment, but then this isn't supposed to be the big realization right. It's just him, being the guy we've been told he is but haven't seen much, the one who values and respects the truth. And cutting to the office can be an interesting editing technique to display how his lies are unraveling. Kind of a 'coming to terms' of the truth in more ways than one? (AKA self-realization as well as kismet finally taking the reigns).

It was definitely unexpected though. I've given up trying to figure out what's coming next this is just going to be a crazy ride. 😃

LOL Pam, I think the horse has left the barn now😆.

I'm not saying Adi won't try to do some form of denial again but the fact that he's going to be in PD for a whole 24 hours more😆.....in the previous 24 hours, he's already reached the point of being emboldened enough to hold Imlie's hand over his heart and imagine that he's dancing with her😆......at this rate I don't see denial managing to survive another 24 hours😆. Even his pushbacks at his alter ego were filled with total panic and desperation rather than his usual cold confident assertion about how he only loves Moon. That is how he used to react before to any suggestions of Imlie mattering to him.....but his reaction to the alter ego today was notably different.

The story has picked up pace deliberately I feel and the remaining time in PD will continue along the same lines.....Imlie is giddy over this one day reprieve....Adi is in the mood to literally grant her anything since he himself said, "kuch bhi"😆.....so I don't see him being able to hold himself back from becoming even more attached to her in this time they have left and then subsequently reaching the realization that his alter ego was right.

This epi was turned all our prediction models topsy turvy for now I'd say😆

so freaking true, the next scene was more them than the sindoor scene... the sindoor scene was typical cliche ITV GUL scene.... and Imlie reaction??? The first time when she slipped she was impacted, which so goes with her but in the sindoor scene, they acted as if he saying these things are so normal which they are not... I guess the edit was horrible or they just added it for the sake of it 😈

What if Adi comes to know that imlie wrote the poem? 🥰😍
