Aaagh I just wish Imlie goes back with Adi now. But I guess they have to show at least a week of Adi Malini scenes now lol

Pam, I think their intent with that scene was to show that Adi's contradictory state of mind is coming out through impulsive actions like this.....just a minute before he was again claiming she wants to get rid of him and then when she came closer, he held her hand like this. They probably didn't show him introspect with his usual, "Yeh hum kya kar rahe hain" probably cuz they wanted to set up the later alter-ego realization scene and felt they needed to show one direct scene of Adi's "attraction" towards Imlie before that😆.....before this epi, they always showed it indirectly.....but this was his most direct action yet in showing his yearning towards Imlie. Everything else has always been deflected or covered up with an excuse....this time no excuse was given for why he grabbed her hand.

Yes, storywise, this is a culmination of a lot of things he's repressed for a long time....as we've often discussed....he only swings in extremes....ya toh kuch bhi acknowledge nahin karega for Imlie or suddenly the intensity reaches I will miss you via sindoor level😆.

By the end scene, he did come back to his usual, "Hum sirf Moon ke hain" jaap....so all felt right with the world again....I never thought I'd feel comforted seeing Adi with his usual Moon jaap and yeh sab jhoot hai and PD mein aake sab galat kyun ho jaata hai rants😆....but aaj wohi normal lagaa mujhe.....haha.

Wohi DILEMMA hai humaare liye bhi (like Adi had a DILEMMA today :P).....ki we liked the content of the alter-ego scene but there was too much happening before and after to fully process it😆.yes indecisive ness content acha hai but it needed apna graph.. woh ek crescendo of the high point was totally missed heck isse zyada to kapdon ki receipt got footage

I did like the dance scene more on a rewatch.....touching tha how Adi's alter ego depicted his yearning to break free and just bask in the simple joy of being with Imlie.....they did get the simplicity and sweetness of the moment right. Definitely sweet and simple tha I like the innocence of that moment but lol the somg and adi suddenly proclaiming to be imlie ka ranjha made me go huh.. Don't worry I will get over it.. and compartmentalize in due time..

Agreed on the upcoming moral dilemma coming up for Adi.....I feel he will accept his feelings in this extra day he's spending in PD and then will try to go back and tell Malini....but will fail to do it once again just like he failed to tell her about the marriage last time and lied since she got an anxiety attack. Uske baad shuru hoga moral dilemma of trying to step back from the feelings he's realized and trying to do right by Malini I think.

Yes jaayega batane but usse pehle woh chaturvedis will be waiting for him with phool Mala and jitna bhi honsla leke jaayega chop ho jaayega and he will be again trapped in damn kya karoon kya na karoon.. I can't wrong any party 🤷‍♂️

Now, starting from the day when Aditya was missing Imlie when she went to Malini's house to all that followed after, makes a lot of sense. In every step of the way after that day he just kept on walking towards Imlie and away from Malini.

- that day at Mrs. C's house we all thought Aditya acted that way out of concern, but today we got to know that he was actually missing Imlie and was restless that why isn't Imlie in front of him;

- the bike ride in the rain after that - Aditya's reaction/awareness for the first time when Imlie put her hand on his shoulder. Someone (a paththar) who always used to run away from the rain, learned to enjoy the rain that day;

- On Valentine's day, the way he got the red dress for her (his subconscious mind wanted to) and how irritated he was when Imlie mentioned someone else's name. As if, he wanted Imlie to tell the world that Aditya Kumar Tripathi got this dress for her.

- How he longed to wish her happy birthday;

- How he wanted her to enter her room as well as his life. They both moved forward as a couple that day leaving Malini behind.

- the singing scene, where Aditya heart had started to sing in Imlie's tune.

- Ultimately, the bridge incidence when Aditya went crazy after Imlie went missing and the way he didn't even notice Malini when he saved Imlie, pretty much defined their relationship.

- the goon incidence, how he was longing for her and how heart-broken he was when he saw Imlie leaving;

Denial, denial, denial Mr. Aditya Kumar Tripathi until it couldn't be denied anymore. Somewhere along the line Imlie has become reason for his living and without her he can't even breathe anymore.

I am still processing what I saw! Again fabulous acting by GM and Sumbul!! Beautiful story telling continues and GM and Sumbul continue to do full justice to it along with the entire cast and cvs. 👏❤️

My two cents on that sindoor thing. They had had this whole rush of snakebite, exams etc that they got two seconds to actually talk only on that bridge. The elation of having been successful at the exam ebbed and despair took over because both of them realized there is no going back to Delhi. Aditya was still trying to use his family as a shield but he did not like the finality of her decision to be able to stay away. That bit of sindoor, which I have no idea how it got there, was the last remnant piece associated with Imlie and he wanted to hold on to it. There is nothing else material she left behind in his house either. That chain that she did leave behind was not associated to her. And when he thought that last piece of remembrance was under attack, he did the only thing he could. Hold on to it with dear life. The dialogue was intense but so has his reactions been to anything related to her.

I do not think there was anything more to the hand holding bit because he did not think he doing anything wrong in holding on to something he considered his own.

Sindoor moment is slightly more understandable on a rewatch....and as I was saying earlier, the back and forth jumps b/w the Adi-Imlie scenes and the office scenes were also adding to a bit of a jarring feeling for me.

Rewatch mein it struck me more that he's wanting to remember Imlie through her sindoor😆....which is basically a symbol of her being his wife.....and baad mein isko PASAND realize ho gayi.....haha

This epi in someways felt as erratic as we call Malini's mind these days😆.....yeah it's all still the same day which started with Adi claiming ki Imlie ke itna kareeb aana galat tha neend mein, then thinking Imlie ko farak nahin padta, remembering Moon on his deathbed, then suddenly jumping to Imlie's exam being his only mission in life to now grabbing her hand and saying ki main sindoor se tumhein yaad karunga😆.....to finally having his alter ego dancing with her....ROFL

Mujhe bhi feelz nahin aaye cuz the flow was off for me.....I think these scenes will feel better as standalones on a rewatch.
