YRF have made a point of saying they won't send their films direct to OTT.

By making this the first release they look to be using this film as a trail balloon. But if it fails how can they differentiate between an audience that's not interested and one that's still fearful of COVID.

I can't believe how much Parineeti (especially) and Arjun have both deteriorated as actors from their glorious Ishaqzaade to Namastey England then this, even though it's from DB.

Why does Parineeti always act with this no-hoper?? I feel this had a big hand in putting most of her contemporaries ahead of her too...

This movie is a good 3-4 years old at this point. I think it was postponed to post Namaste England and then to 2020 but COVID hit and it got pushed again. Obviously YRF is just dumping it and has no expectations from it. There were plenty of rumors that the movie wasn't made well by Dibakar.

YRF refused to go to OTT for any of their movies so there's no concept of OTT refused to buy it.

Why do they need their own film to know whether audience is fearful or not? Anyway other movies are releasing, they can get their insights from there.

This particular month might be the "hottest" Parineeti Chopra's career has been in 3-4 years at least. Everyone is trying to offload their projects with her, and "cash-in" on her current spotlight.

I just wish she was able to get better results, but there's still time :)
