Sorry to say makers might skip suicide blackmail act of emon here coz it they know public ek baar 2 sympathize kar sakti , koi uska apni aadat bana le to get things done 2 public uske saat sympathise nhi karegi , emon twice went to suicide drama first during Holi , second during freshers program just to make chatterjee do what she want 2 . People will start critizing Sai's character coz she is setting a wrong example, by using suicide as blackmail. Maker might skip this

Already they r setting a wrong example that sai goes away without apologizing

i agree..

virat goes to extremes when he is in anger.

but as they are copying KD here and as there is no such scene in KD..i dont they will show it here in this track.

after devi and pulkit's marriage virat may get very angry and say mean things to sai and ask her to leave. if they follow KD he may throw her out of the house also.

but hand-raising was not there. so they wont show.

Can u brief what rono said to emon that she created drama outside

Yes, I agree sai should not do that blackmail but I am sorry I didn't get why you mentioned this over her. .... We talking about virat hand rising thing right?... And I believe he wouldn't slap her but he might rise his hand.... I won't completely blame him until I see the whole episode ..

Maybe, you can look at it as foreshadowing? Virat stopped Bhavani from denying food to Mohit and Sai but ended up giving the same treatment to Sai. He stopped Ninad from hitting Sai ...so might be possible..even if he doesn't actually slap, he might raise his hand...

No matter the values given by his mother, Virat has grown up seeing the abusive behaviour of his father. In moments of anger/rage, that patriarchal mindset (that has got imprinted at some level) comes out in his behaviour - even if, when he is sober, in his mind, he considers domestic violence wrong.

Take the alta episode - he is in hangry mode. Why? Because he is jealous of Sai talking to Aniket. So he asks his family "Why did you let Sai go without making her apply alta?" Then he asks Karishma to bring Sai down, "forcefully if she resists". His attitude was disgusting in that.

The food denial episode was horrible. I know Sai said a lot of hurtful things, but he too could have responded with equally piercing words. Yet, he chose to humiliate her self-respect in front of the entire family. Even when Ashwini rebuked him for his behaviour, he is seen justifying and defending himself. Only when Ashwini points out how Sai has never raised suspicions about his intentions with Pakhi - the guilt finally breaks through. So I don't think he truly managed to unlearn his in-built, overly patriarchal streak. Rather his guilt was over being unfair with someone who had been so understanding.

When his rage came out in such egregious ways for trivial to medium issues, imagine how he might react in a very, very serious matter such as Devyani's life. We can justify his rage in this issue but I'm not sure the patriarchy in him will not raise its head into giving an indigestible reaction.

I hope and pray the confrontation is limited to the cruelest, harshest words and asking her to leave to hostel and nothing beyond that...

Sorry for the long rant.....

I agree to him being a certain degree of a chauvinist.. I did not like him telling Sai to endure the abuse meted her in the name challenging the ghar ke ache bade.. I dont like that he lets Pakhi in their conversation all the time..where as shuts up the likes of Maushi and Shivani Bua saying Pati Patni ka maamla hai..He lets his family call his wife jungli mulgi ... Pulkit lunch episode.. I dont even want to go there.. But then again I do believe that he does possess certain degree of morals and giving him and the show the last chance , because of a belief that I have in Virat.. But then if they actually decide to show this...there is no turning back for me ..until they get a different hero for Sai..Even Sai would not be able to make me watch the show..I am sure a lot of other Sairat fans would not return to the show..
