While Aditya has been wrong in continuing the charade from the beginning, red flags have been stuck into the ground everywhere in the house from then itself for everyone to see. Malini is so terrified of finding something not to her liking that she does not want to broach anything with her own husband. If she gets a jhatka when the truth comes out, she will be partly responsible too.

Also, how is it that no one, absolutely no one sees Aditya enduring pain? His father happened to notice only because he heard him yell at Malini. Aditya has been walking around hurt, physically toh tha hi, but he was teetering on the brink emotionally to the point of being dangerous when it concerns Imlie and everyone wanted to go to PD? Or do they see it and do not want to bring it up with him because he might snap at them?

Whereas Imlie glances at his face once and knows he does not want to go to the mandi.

@bold: Yeah, none of them really get Adi😆.....most of them fear his temper and his irritability cuz he can randomly snap at anyone😆....so uski wajah se I guess they give him a wide berth rather than try to get to the crux of his mental/emotional state.

Adi being physically injured has made it easier for all of them to think that he's only dealing with the after-effects of the Bunty Bhaiyya drama and getting beaten up.....they can't fathom that anything else could bring about such an extreme reaction in Adi😆. Think about it from their point of view...unke hisaab se everyone that Adi cares about - his family, his wife Malini are all fit and fine...toh Adi kyun stressed hai? 😆 Why will they imagine in their wildest imaginations ki Adi ko Imlie ke jaane ka itna sadma lag sakta hai?😆

Imlie toh phir Imlie hai....lol she has a special inbuilt radar for her Babusahib😆....no one has jheloed his gussa and daant more than her so she has now become an expert at looking past his bluster many times😆......usko apne hisaab se sunaa deti hai.

As for Malini.....lol well obviously that is a special brand of delusion but now I'm resigned to it😆

As I said in my previous posts also, the fundamental tricky issue remains ki Adi consciously realizing his feelings for Imlie will then make it difficult to show his marriage with Malini in a "normal" way....right now he gets a pass in many ways cuz he has taken a clear stand that he only loves Malini and only considers her his wife....but if he starts to realize he feels anything for Imlie, the next obvious question will always be - then what about Malini? And how Adi handles that will decide the next phase for his character.....they may do the usual angle of him TRYING to talk to Malini and then backing off when as usual she gets some anxiety attack....then yet another cycle of endless guilt😆....but at the minimum, he should then begin to back off from PDA with Malini or it will look worse for his character to be simultaneously professing love for both ladies.

One more possibility could be with them showing an Adi struggling with his feelings for Imlie and maybe consoling himself ki there is no future there toh main yeh sab kya soch raha hoon, best to stick to Malini😆.

Basically the writers love looping back to the status quo many times....lol so all our theories need to allow for that possibility😆

@bold: That would be the icing on the cake but it will depend on what name they give this realization and not in the near future 😒. I do think, after he gets Imlie back, we might just go to status quo as you said but with a different flavor. He cannot go back to Imlie being just zimmedari, a thorn on his side ,.... yes, he will force himself to that mode as he is mahir in suppressing his emotions but it should prick him that he not putting the things in the right compartments.😆

I have a doubt...

Was there any particular reason that the whole family took turns in talking to Imlie except for Malini and Nishant. Nishant maybe because he isn't as close to Imlie like the rest of the family, but why Malini didn't talk to Imlie? Normally, she always jumps into such situations and try to be on top of it. Is it to show her displeasure at Imlie so that her conversation with Adi would look believable or there could be some other reason?

LOL right now I find it so hard to imagine ki aisa bhi koi time aa sakta hai😆....Adi willing to let go of his "mera 7 saal ka pyar, meri Moon" seems like a fantasy given how much they have pakaaoed us with it.....I will need to see this to actually believe that Adi can take a proper stand choosing Imlie over his 7 saal ka pyar....not like random bridge rescue where he did choose Imlie over Malini but agle second back to meri Moon ho gaya😆. What you are talking about will only happen if we ever hear these mahaan words from Adi's mouth ki Imlie is the one he wants, not Malini😆.

Prakash can be a long term character if they start Imlie's college track properly.....and then if Imlie goes to Malini's college, then Malini also may try to encourage the Imlie-Prakash pairing 😆....tab shaayad baat ho 18 saal ki friendship ki.....lol

Hahah yup I loved that too he was way way too resigned about anything to do with malini in his jhanjhalhat with himself and his fears coming true of him harboring koi attachment and emotions for imlie ..😆 and then everyone reminding him he looks distracted and disturbed be it editor sahib or malini which contributed to his irritation more caz he is failing miserably in concealing his emotions 😆

LOL it could even go like, he tells Imlie, "I had some work here that is why I came, when Maa found out, she told me to bring you back with me, I tried my best but everyone was adamant. Sorry, Imlie, I am helpless, go pack your bags."

Actually, I never had an issue with "7 saal ka pyaar", "Hum Moon ke the, Moon ke hai and Moon ke hi rahenge", "Illegal Marriage" and "Only Moon is my wife" because I always saw it as the biggest hurdle for Adi when he falls for Imlie. He has said it so many times, that Imlie might not believe when Adi will fall in love with her and confess to her. Imlie might assume Adi is having an intense case of emotional sickness and it would pass. Then she is going to doubt his love, as if he could forget his this intense love then he will forget his love for her also. She is going to have a hard time believing that he simply misunderstood his friendship for love.

Malini is forever ready to ship Imlie with anyone, all she wants to be is be at the head of the party😆

On a serious note again you have to see the story from overall perspective this is not a girl meets boy they fall in love and everything is bed of roses story as simple as that.. something should be allowed to follow the organic route to fall into place rather than counting kitne episodes main pyar hua and hormonal huye superficial leads mile.. 🤷‍♀️ not every story has to be watched with LLHH ke expectations leke.. duniya main bihat si kahaniyan hain and there are many other ways of showing love and admiration than just one way of seeing things.. as simple as that.. let the story follow its organic path

I don't think anyone is saying this needs to follow a formula - but it's the writers story - they can choose to have Adi realize his love tomorrow...it will be specific to Adi and still organic. There is no special formula that it has to take weeks of growing the story for 2 people to fall in love. There is no prescribed timeline either way. It only needs to be consistent with the character sketch. Adi has been shown to be impulsive and making a sudden u turn will not be inconsistent with his sketch to date.

I enjoy the fact that in this serial - they have not shown anything to be instantaneous - but for some viewers (including me) what has been shown build up to date justifies a declaration of some kind of emotional attachment to imli shortly and Adi not being to introspect what she means to him after the intensity of what he is shown to be feeling - is what will cause the show to drag. Each one sees it differently - one path is not more organic than the other.

As I see - some viewers want Adi to take more time to understand his feelings and fight it further. I would prefer the story where he realizes now before he goes to PG that his feelings are increasing towards Imli and still the story moves along because of his commitments to Malini and all the promises he has made to date. Thats more interesting - because he is then actively looking to solve a mess he has created rather than hide away from the truth - so he does not have to face it. The hiding from the truth Adi - puts a dent in his image as well...not consistent with smart patrakar.

The good news is we don;t have to wait much - soon we will know which way the story will go - whether he gives her standing in his life and takes her back or whether she goes back as status quo - due to familt pressure. Lets see. Either way - story will be good :)

It was for Aditya to realize that what an important member she has become of his family, how much they value her, care about her and how she is connected to each and every person in his family. Plus, a common theme was that why didn't you inform anybody and how much we are worried whereas she had informed him but she will never say that to anybody. This goes with his previous statement and his trust in her that whatever happens she will never disclose anything to anybody. All this was to add to his restlessness because he became the reason for her leaving and in turn, his family being worried but she took all the blame without a single complain.

I always say that Malini does things so that she remains in Aditya's focus but at that time, Aditya had walked away so there was no reason to be in the center. In the room too, she first heard about Aditya's views and once confirmed that he was not happy with Imlie, she started saying the same things to show how much she is on board with his thinking and how similar they are almost like sitting in the moving train. But it backfired because she just cannot read him and hence did not understand the actual meaning, intention or hurt behind his off hand words.

Before this bit, there is also the Sajna o Sajna chorus which goes something like this:

"Sajna ho Sajna ho, aaja more sajnaa

tere bin koyaliya, bole more majhna ho"

I haven't figured out yet what majhna means but that's what it sounds like😆....if I was to infer, she's talking about a koyal bird singing in her home/aangan😆

Thank you 🤗 so much. This is so helpful.

Off to make good use of this 😊

@bold: The challenge with ITV is that the definition of "interesting" does not always align between the writers and the viewers. For the writers, they are more interested in keeping the "mystery" of a problem going than in solving it.

No one is saying that they don't want the problem solved here.....some of us are simply saying that we need to be aware of how ITV works.....showing anyone actively solving the biggest problem rarely happens....they just keeping solving "smaller" problems like saving each other's lives...lol

As others here like Pam have mentioned, Adi realizing his feelings for Imlie at this point will open up problems that he isn't yet ready to solve....especially vis a vis Malini. He is not in the emotional/mental state yet to realize that Malini is not the grand love of his life. Confessing anything to Imlie and then coming back to resume his relationship with Malini will be a bigger dent on his character.....so it's easier to keep him dumb and oblivious about his feelings.....lol
